He should get that on tattoo.

Less of a ball handler. More undersized shooting guard but your point is well taken.
IQ was more of a 2 also, but yes better handles. But man Deuce is even starting to get into the paint and finish. I mean he's probably learned a ton from Brunson and IQ too.
I want to complain about the calls, or the no calls, but at the end of the day, Indy was just taking a defensive play out of Josh's playbook.
No Randle
No Anunoby
No Grimes
No Problem
No Fournier ? I thought we couldn't win without him
I don't know if this was motivation - but Haliburton played because he wanted to get paid- and shit, that is a lot of money he stands to lose.
But Brunson got punched in the face, and he played because he wanted to win.

Makes sense. Won't fault him. But less about Haliburton and more about Brunson and the team. Four rotation players missing.
I've been dreaming about having a player like Brunson since I was a little kid. He continues to amaze me!
Just what an incredible player. I'm at a loss for words how great he is.
- Watching Precious rebound & defend is very enjoyable - 16 boards, 4 steals, 2 blocks & clamps on Pascal
- I-Hart 19 boars and 6 assists- Turner invisible
- JALEN
- Deuce - so proud
- Donte no fear
- J-Hart on an RJ like clanking streak but at least 14 boards
Is Precious an upgrade over Obi?!?! I'd take Precious 7/10 over Obi. This is easily the most satisfying win of the season. They should've lost, but their pride wouldn't let them. I don't care about All Star or All NBAs. This crew has proven that they're champs and I know they're giving it their all, regardless of results.

Precious should have some inside info on how to defend Pascal, as he practiced against him & watched him on a regular basis for a few years.
I-Hart has emerged as a keeper...and at this point I feel more comfortable with him playing than Mitch. Frankly, I've been stunned at his ability as a defender, though I didn't know much about him before we signed him.
Not sure we've had a team with the defensive chops this team has since the 90s.
Hartenstein/Precious with impenetrable front court defense and incredible rebounding. Its hard to describe this win. One of the most satisfying of the year.

Just wrote the same thing down thread. I can live with the fact he shoots layups like d@#$head if he hustles like that.

Dude, they wanted it more and they went out and took it. I love the next man up mentality.

Agreed - he’s got great feet and was mostly ready for the Pascal spin moves - esp. after 1sr qtr
JB is unreal, best Pg I’ve ever seen wear a Knicks uniform, I’ve been a born and raised Knick fan since the early Ewing years .
Also this is the best constructed roster I have seen in my lifetime as a Knick fan. Brunson has the supporting cast Ewing never had love oak, mase and Stark’s and even camby,LJ,spree and Houston in his twilight. This roster is next level.
I think we can all agree non of them compare to Randle talent wise. We’ve never had two stars in there prime with a defensive lockdown and floor spacing supporting cast. This roster is super balanced and relentless. One that has potentially 2 DPOTY in Mitch and OG, devo is taking his game to the next level that non of us expected. We have young defensive studs off the bench in grims and Duce. We have the ultimate glue guy in og in the starting unit and the ultimate glue guy in hart keeping the young second unit flowing. As long as this unit stays healthy come playoff time this team could play itself into a finals. I think they have the ability to beat anyone on any given night .
Now with OG on board we Match up really well vs the C’s in the ECF . I could see us beating the Celtics with this roster, we are just so deep at every position esp when Mitch comes back
Mitch, hartin
Randle,PA
OG,Heart
Devo, grimes, EF
Brunson, McBride; Flynn
Biggest surprises this year:
DEVO we all liked the signing but didn’t see him becoming this good
McBride has reallY blossomed into a solid 3 and d backup ball handler we all saw it in the g league it’s nice to see it finally translate.
Congratulations to our all stars in Brunson and Randle well deserved !
And a great game tonight !
