They just said "sore" which might be good news.

remember we have a history of downplaying injuries. Remember OG was a sore elbow until a few days before he got an operation. The good thing I take is it says questionable instead of out. Gives me some hope it is not season ending.

They didnt immediately take Brunson to the hospital for an MRI, so just a sore knee might be a good thing.

NYStateOfMind @ 3/3/2024 8:05 PM
DDV is guarding him from what I see, but switches off to easily.

Burks or Bogs is on him. He will get looks

GustavBahler @ 3/3/2024 8:08 PM
You give Bogs the minutes, he delivers. Cant keep him on the bench for long stretches or he goes cold.
BigDaddyG @ 3/3/2024 8:09 PM
Just tuned in. Where's Brunson? 😱

Sims can't defend anyone for his size, it is pathetic. PF Precious at least tries and makes some blocks, but otherwise getting abused as usual in the paint, as expected.
MS @ 3/3/2024 8:19 PM
Since Randle and Anunoby’s last game together -- against the Miami Heat at the end of January -- Donte DiVincenzo has played 40.4 minutes a night, Precious Achiuwa 40.3 and Josh Hart 39.4, making up three of the NBA’s top-five in the last eight contests. Jalen Brunson is in the top-15 with 37.3, despite suffering an ankle injury and missing one game during this stretch.”

That is honestly fucking ridiculous.

That didn’t look like a sore knee- it looked like he couldn’t use his leg, like there was an injury to a critical component.

How was iHarts dunk not an and 1?

Damned if you do damned if you don't. Thibs literally has no one to play. You try to win to buy time you are going to overplay the NBA caliber players you have. He starts playing D league guys he's putting the season. Its simple math. 15 in the bench normally. IHart has limited minutes. Take away Randle, OG, Mitch. Your down to 11.4 players and the 13th guy on the bench moving up to be your 9th man. The minutes thing is over blown and the current situation is a no win situation that people are giving a knee jerk reaction to the numbers. If he played Alec Burks 35 minutes there would be an uproar too.

ToddTT @ 3/3/2024 8:31 PM
Does Taj play any point?
NYStateOfMind @ 3/3/2024 8:36 PM
Stop switching your assignment to double team, geesh. Keeps leaving guys wide open. Baskets within 5 feet all night and what happened to the team who could control the glass? Now they always seem late or unlucky, wrong place or just tired?

Sims is lost out there, rarely gets a rebound, yet +19 somehow, lol.

NYStateOfMind @ 3/3/2024 8:37 PM
Love me some Precious, killing it IMO.

He has lots of people to play. He chooses not to play them. he is looking at the micro instead of the macro. He is trying to win every game where we have a slim to no chance of winning anyway. So he is risking their health for nothing. Players like Brown and Toppin could not even get in the game. We are losing most of these games anyway so why not put them in and give our main guys a rest.

MS @ 3/3/2024 8:41 PM
I don’t think it’s a damned if you do.

McBridge can play 20 minutes against any team in the league and hold his own enough to give ddv and Brunson some air. If you’re getting beat on the first night of a back to back you can pull your guys with 6 minutes left. He does it all the time. You can save minutes.

We are obviously decimated, but sometimes you have to give up the game for the health of the season.

Several games I 100% agree.
