Hell ya....let's GO OG!
EwingsGlass @ 3/7/2024 3:58 PM
Oooh. Can't wait to get OG back.
EwingsGlass @ 3/7/2024 3:59 PM
Mitch Robinson is running and jumping again. Allegedly.

Well that's kind of all he needs to do. Not like he needs to get his shot back!

Dude needs to learn how to shoot free throws.

I don't understand how anyone in the NBA doesn't hit 70% of their free-throws.
Just practice, dude. It's the same fucking shot, every time.

That's like the big man trait for since forever. There has to be something being that tall to mess up your ability to hit free throws.

OG will play 53 minutes in OT win vs Sixers vs Sunday - setting off a 19-0mKnicks season finish.

Man crush ready for activation.

LOL - was going to say as long as he’s not shooting we are ok.

Never seen a player (maybe I have) practice and continue to look worse shooting like Mitch and his line drive free throws.

I know for Shaq it was because his hands were to big. Not sure if that is the common reason for the poor FT shooting big men.

He barely uses his legs, and throws line drives at the rim. I’m genuinely impressed that any of them go in.

I think free throws are easier when you’re aiming at a target at a higher angle. Imagine shooting free throws on a 4 foot hoop. That shit would be hard.

I wonder how big men with bad percentages would fare on an 11 foot hoop.

Why not shoot free throws underhanded like some of old people were taught to do in first grade. I swear I was taught that in gym class prior to third grade. And it worked for little kids.

Because they would look silly!

Rick Barry shot underhanded and shot a great %.

I remember Wilt Chamberlain struggling and I thought he tried underhanded and gave up after a while- video below is about big man struggles shooting.

Thoughts on rotation once OG is back? It would be cool to see:

Brunson-DDV-Hart-OG-iHart
Deuce-Shake-Bogs-Precious

More likely we see

Brunson-DDV-OG-Precious-iHart
Deuce-Burks-Bogs-Sims

DLeethal @ 3/8/2024 8:40 AM
Lineup with Brunson-DDV-Hart-OG-iHart could be really solid
KnickDanger @ 3/8/2024 8:46 AM
Even with this devastating rash of injuries the Knicks are still in a decent place standings-wise, albeit crowded and always precarious. Injuries happen to other teams as well, although not to this degree it seems. However, no one yet is definitively out for the season - a timing of getting everyone back for an end of season and playoff run would feel real nice.

Yea, they built a little bit of a cushion to sustain a losing streak. Other teams like ORL and MIA had pretty bad stretches already and then got hot while we got hurt. But ebbs and flows will continue and Knicks most likely have another run in them.

Knicks finished 16-4 during the "we here" season to solidify HCA in the playoffs. The 54 win year we had a late stretch of 13-1 to solidify that season. Good teams make late runs, we have some time to do it and we are getting our guys back soon. Late March has a soft spot in the schedule as well.

franco12 @ 3/8/2024 11:46 AM
would be fitting to be the 8th seed, healthy, and have the Celts lose their guys to injuries. A Celtic hater Knick fan can dream?
