Knicks · Franchise Leaderboard for 3s (page 1)

Anyone else really, really want DDV to surpass Evan Fournier as the team leader in 3PM? I actually kinda loathe that that soft French fuck is at the top of the list.

I really freaking hate that EF gets to claim he did something 'best' here (other than cash paychecks).

AM I being irrational -- with this (I know I am irrational in general)? Anyone else feel similarly?

I have no problem with Fournier. When he was pulled from the rotation, he never complained and worked hard to stay ready if he was needed. That being said, I appreciate what DDV does on both sides of the court and am rooting for him to break the record.

Fournier was professional while he was here. But I'll always associate him with Kemba, and 20 point deficits.

DDV is playing awesome, so I'd like to see him crush the leaderboard.

No EF hate but all for DDV.

EF was a class act right up until he made that "spitting" comment about his role. Dont believe that was the best choice of words.

He was too old at that point to be playing FIBA in the summer, and an 82 game regular season . Have to respect EF wanting to represent his country, but he signed a very lucrative contract. Overextending himself kept him from being the difference maker he was his first season as a Knick.

Just to be clear, I am not hating on EF the man. I am totally shitting on him as a player--I hate his game

It’s wild to me that the Knicks got a better player offensively and defensively for just about half the cost. That is just amazing.

And even more importantly the culture fit. So much of this is having the right players around our stars and the right player for the way the coach wants to play the game. When DDV was in Milwaukee i always thought he played bigger than his size and was a really strong role player to have around Giannis. His progress was derailed by injuries and he had a couple years just being on the margins of the NBA and people forgot about him. Good recovery year in the right type of program at GS and noe an even better culture and system fit here and he has immediately outplayed his contract.

I was happy with EF accomplished that feat and regret he was not up to Thibs benchmark.
We improved with him on the bench. Shit happens.
I will be happy when DDV breaks it.
One day I will rejoice when someone beats DDV’s record and perhaps helps lift the team to greater heights.
I root for all knicks to accomplish high levels of play!

Respect for EF and what he did - great year - could have used him last year, especially in the play offs. Hope he gets a chance again to contribute to a team in the future.
