Missed the game but nice to wake up to this.

Fun game and such a great win! Brunson was again just incredible! Should have had 50 if the zebras gave him some calls. Hartenstein's defense in the 4th on Sabonis was insane. Completely shut him down! The entire defense has been on point the last few games. And Burks finally did something positive.

As funny as this vid is, it actually takes away from the actual degree by which JB just blew by him in the actual film. I don't think Ellis took a step until Brunson was like 5-8 feet past him already. I don't think I've ever seen a play like this before, where the defender got caught sleeping like a statue.

Wow what a game. Brunson's game goes without saying. Good to see him getting back into a flow with his 3 ball.

The biggest bright spot was obviously Burks and Bogs single handedly putting together a 9-0 run in a critical time when it looked like the Kings could put us away. I was very happy to see Thibs extend their leash deep into the 4th to reward them for their efforts. Let's hope that sparks something with those two. You can see when Burks even plays halfway decent how much those shots help the bench unit that struggles to score a lot. Bogs had some really nice drives, showing he is more than a sniper, big 3 pointer but he's still throwing a lot of UFO's out there. But it was great to see them spark a late game run like that.

Not far behind them was iHart, who each game seems to be getting stronger and stronger and more impactful back to where he was mid season. The man is an incredible defender, and when OG and Hart are providing the "help", it's absolutely suffocating inside. When we started to struggle to score late, I just felt so confident our guys would continue to get stops down the stretch, against one of the most potent offenses in the league.

We are like 15-2 now with OG Anunoby. Even when he's playing one-armed he is making such an impact. I do worry about his ability to get through shooting motion. He clearly does not want to shoot jumpers because it's hurting his elbow. Just hope this is something that will heal while he plays, sort of like iHart who appears to be mending game to game while he's still playing.

Last game we talked about the way the refs are swallowing the whistle, the impact on Brunson and also the benefit to our defense. Yesterday would suggest that our defense is gonna benefit heavily from this. It's probably not a coincidence that this stretch of holding teams under 100 and the 3 games we held them under 80 are directly correlated to this shift in officiating. So far it seems to play into our hands with our aggressive defense.

Brunson's euro-step floater off the wrong leg is going to start to be emulated like the Dirk one legged fade or the Harden stepback.

Love Deuce but I think we can all see how a decent defender and solid playoff team defense can pretty much neutralize him and then a second unit in turn.

Fox had an off night and so did Sabonis. Knicks are starting to get locked in defensively even without 2 of their prime bigs
