Super tired this morning (getting too old for this!

) but super psyched! There is just nothing like playoffs at the Garden! We needed to get this first one cause we always seem to go on and loss a series when we lose game one at the Garden.

So freaking proud of Deuce! The game changed when he came into the game. He outscored the entire Sixers team in the second quarter by himself 13-12! So proud and happy for Mitch too! Completely shutdown Embiid in the 4th quarter! Embiid didn't score and went 0/5! And what can you say about Josh Hart? He always seems to hit the clutch threes. Went 3/3 in the fourth! And this rebounding just demoralizes teams.

Great sign we were able to win with Brunson shooting so poorly. But he will back in game two guaranteed.

Got to make adjustments on Maxey. Too many easy layups.

Doris Burke has been gushing about Jalen and very complimentary about knicks. I find her mostly objective. Perhaps a women calling out bad play or being critical bothers some people? Knicks have not exactly been perennial playoff contributors the last 23 years and have won two series in that time. Six times in 23 years, won two series in that the. The other 4 first round bounce.
Asinine coaching hires, Isiah, the forced Walsh hire, and numerous starphuchs in that time. Isiah as Team GM? Then Grunwald with the "Isiah whisperer" post AnuchaGate, then Mills hire only to be supplanted by Phil, then back to mills?

Yea Doris is as objective as you will find on the National circuit. Much better than someone like Richard Jefferson for example. JJ is a rising star in the world of commentary. He's really good.
