DDV the only one I see going after Embiid
We need to decide if we’re gonna simply let Embiid bang jumpers for 30-40 points a night or make the other guys beat us.
If this is how the game will be called every game we might not win. Clear foul on Joel infront of the ref and nothing. The same guy that has matched our whole team in fts.
Embiid is dirty AF what a POS

Not a smart played game by our Knicks, add desperation and questionable make-up calls, odds were never in our favor to win this game. I knew this would be the hardest win.I hope we didn't lose Mitch to that bs, he didn't just try to hurt him, he then pushed him so his precious knee wouldn't get touched. Sucks he got rewarded for being a douche.
They are desperate and playing for their lives. We have to adjust the intensity. We have to also punch Embiid in the face (metaphorically speaking). We can't allow to big dick us without consequences. He needs to be fouled hard. He's gonna get the calls anyway. Make him earn them.
This. We have 5 possible players that we could put on him (Anunoby, Robinson, Hartenstein, Precious and Sims). You'd think we'd send waves of hard fouls on him, especially after that bushleague play on Robinson late in the 1st.
And on defense, we should look to attack him more aggressively to force a contest and put stress on his knees in the process. He was allowed to coast through the 3rd, which is how he had the legs to get so many comfortable jump shots, undettered. Was shocked that he was allowed to get through the 3rd without him getting a foul, especially since he was in foul trouble at the end of the half.
Just proves he is a loser POS low-life. League needs to look into his play tonight.

What made that game even harder to watch is looking at that ugly fucker at the line all night long.
Also notice how Joel did not flop when he wanted to do the illegal screen? Don't worry the refs will fall for his next flop anyway.

Philly is the 9th largest city in the country. The league is comfortable with tonight's results. They will milk this cash cow as much as possible.
I hope that dirty piece of shit gets soap in that non-blinking eye.
I hope someone creates buzz in their post game and gets every sports show talking about Embiid’s dirty play that injured Mitch
If they can shoot all series like they did in the third quarter, they'll win. Time will tell.

Yeah a sweep cuts into the profits. League is crooked.
Silver-lining is that we can make some pretty small adjustments and bounce back in G4. We made some uncharacteristic mistakes that won't be a trend (I hope). If Mitch is back, we'll be fine.
Is it me or did Embid get away with murder all night?
The guy committed a blatant offensive foul throwing his ass out, pushed hart to the floor, every play is an offensive foul…
Lowry shoved OG into Maxey. DDV smacked in the head on a 3. I know we got a nice call at the end of game 2 but tonight was insane.
Thibs was also off tonight. Precious should have been playing both games and he should have put OG on Joel, with precious and hart in the front court.

It is not just the shooting. One player is matching a whole team in fts. Everyone knows he flops but he gets the calls anyway. Without Randle we are already relying on roleplayers to carry the scoring. It is going to be hard to overcome one guy getting 20 plus fts.

Respectfully disagree. Fouling doesn't work on a guy who shoots 88% at the line. Here are Joel's expected value for shots:
2 pt FGA 1.2
3 pt FGA 1.2
2 pt FTA 1.8
3 pt FTA 2.6
Clearly putting him on the line is the worst option. Best strategy is to deny him the ball (he's tops among rotation players in FG%) and then back off and give him room. Embiid wants to shoot jumpers- let him.
Whatever this motherfucker should have been ejected and they let him off and he goes off.
That kinda shooting probably wont be repeated.
Knicks also outscored them in the paint by double digits and lost the FT battle by double digits. Something weird about that?
Someone needs to rugby tackle him in the air like he did. Take the flagrant, and let him think about his knee for the rest of the series. What's good for the goose...
We missed Scary Julius to deal with Embiid's dirty play. We could have used a bully in the paint
