Deuce is the man, he really stepped up with the starting nod, defensively he makes it h ell for his opponent. Burks also just letting the game come to him in this series … Brunson looks healthy, josh and Ihart are the glue . Great team win. Let’s end it in 6 let’s get healthier with the 2 day break!

Watch Dante and Josh do big heart breaking acts next game !!!! Deuce and Precious and Alec rip the hearts out of Indiana next game !! We win bigly.
SergioNYK @ 5/14/2024 11:47 PM
Never ever doubt the resiliency and fight of this team and this HC! A lot of teams would have packed it in after the last game but that's not in these guys DNA!

Brunson was just incredible!! Can we please stop this Nesmith can guard him bs? Not even God himself can guard Brunson!

Masterful game plan and adjustments by Thibs! Hartenstein was a monster on the glass! Deuce and Burks played so well at both ends!

Job is not finished! Got to rest up and get ready for the funeral on Friday!

Perhaps that knicks were down by 20 in the first period and 34 by the second?
Where Indy was down 7 in early in the 3rd. Its not always hate. Sometimes its context.
Does not change the end result, but a bit of the narrative. 2 games to win one.
Indy does have a very impressive home record of late.

Miles looked bad inside the 3pt circle. Dude can't box out.

Even Carlisle called it embarrassing and lopsided by the reporters. Yes!

Didn't blame the refs this loss ?

VDesai @ 5/15/2024 12:00 AM
Scott Foster was crushing us with his lopsided whistle and we still dominated. If Carlisle is complaining tonight that is trash.
NYStateOfMind @ 5/15/2024 12:01 AM
Didn't watch it all. He was hard on his team's effort and said he was embarrassed. That they lost all quarters, lost rebounds, terrible response in the 4th for the Pacers.

I wonder what the playoff record is for a game lost then won in back-to-back games for point differential. 62-point swing. Not sure I've seen that before, but not sure.
DLeethal @ 5/15/2024 12:04 AM
Lol this team man … makes us feel stupid every time we doubt them.

Alec Burks giving us 15-20ppg off the bench is a legitimate game changer for us.

Starting Deuce was definitely the move. Letting Deuce shadow Hali also the move. Hartenstein delivered as a one man wrecking crew on the boards to compensate for the small lineup.

Brunson looks back to normal. Starbury giving Knicks training staff major props on IG for their work getting him ready. He knows how these things work behind the scenes.

1 more and let’s get OG back for Boston with a confident Burks off the bench.

So Brunson is Grogu ?

ESPN has changed the headline to the Knicks blow out Pacers. They must have read my post.

No, Grogu is taller and 4th in MVP voting.

Small in stature and strong in the force !!

Remember this? Never let the haters bring you down. I think Jalen has proven beyond a shadow of doubt he's a "1A." Fuck Windhorst, Fuck Becky, Perk cool and fuck Chini's fine ass.

JB got snubbed on MIF (Most Improved Force) voting.

5 Knicks turnovers in the 1st, 4 the rest of the way. Indy 18. Awesome.

Finally the Knicks played a defensive brand of ball - Knicks basketball. We won the first two playing into the Pacers style and came close again in game 3.
The Pacers came out hard, but we reeled them in and, outside of Turner’s 3 3s to start the 2nd half, couldn’t really get things going.

TH is a really strange star - at least in this series, he takes long stretches where he’s off ball, being little more than a spacer/decoy. Perhaps he lost his mojo/was playing hurt again. I’m just amazed that their best player was such a non-factor.

Burks was a real difference maker today. His 3s were true and defused some mini Pacers runs. Somehow Hartenstein grew another hand with the shot to the neck on Jackson. That was pretty funny.

The announcers were strange tonight - I looked down at the score and the announcers never said the Knicks were up 25 or 30. They seemed a bit biased at times, making judgments on replays of a single angle.

I’ve gotta say, Scott Foster, for all the flack he gets, kept a potentially messy game under control. I believe we’re 3-0, or maybe 4-0 this post season with him officiating. He doesn’t hate us - he seems to respect our team’s interpretation of the rules. :) that bodes well if we are to continue our playoff run.

This game felt like we found a way to play 7 core players yet find a way to get solid rest time for our starters. The Knicks play much better with Achiuwa as our backup center than in a 2 big lineup.
The Pacers lost something after tying up the series. Today they didn’t have answers when we hit them back after their hot start.

VDesai @ 5/15/2024 5:31 AM
Hartenstein ties a Knick playoff record with 12 off rebs. 53-29 rebound advantage means we got to attempt 29 more shots than the Pacers. That is the key to beating Indiana playing fast.
