I did not watch it. Have the games always been played at 3pm eastern on a sunday after noon? Weather was really nice in NC and I don't turn on the TV on weekend afternoons.

WCBB is the worst. SC just got the top scorer in the league this season. It is just an arms races betwen like 2 or 3 teams. Thats why there are so many blowouts. It makes what Caitlin did with no other star seem even better. To get to the finals twice with that team is crazy.

The weeding out of the old guard in the WNBA has quietly been happening. Two anti Caitlin old heads have been let go of their jobs. Both Cindy Brunson and Sheryl Swoopes were commentators last season and have been replaced. Both were outwardly anti Caitlin. Both were in twitter spaces where openly racist things were said about Caitlin and now they are gone. The WNBA is a business and it don't matter if you are a former player or current commentator. Being nasty against the most popular player ever will not be tolerated. Cindy Brunson was the dumbest of the two. The Mercury owner has a hard on for Caitlin and been very nice to her on the sneak tip. The Mercury is also the team who been nice to her the entire time. So the second the owner sees that Cindy may kill his chance at Caitlin in the future she was going to lose her job. Both been better recently since Caitlin did the Pandering in the Times article but the damage has already been done.
The player who blindside hip checked Caitlin is also jobless right now and she has superstar talent. I can't really attribute Caitlin for that. Chennedy has a long history of being a loose cannon and team cancer. I guess it finally it caught up with her.

My GOAT is back and I could'nt be more happy. She also has a team that loves her this year so she is bringing out her personality way more and smiling way more. During the exit interviews the big 3 said to protect the locker room. So they shipped out the problem player and upgraded the roster in every way. We no longer have to worry about a player trolling the star of the team or that players girlfriend trying to defame her name and link her with racisim. Now it's about only basketball.
