I think they probably just go smaller and resign Precious. Should have known when Claxton got 25MM we were in trouble.
Guys off the board: Jonas, Jalen Smith, Plumlee, Andre Drummond
Theis? James Wiseman? Dwight Howard? (no way)
Have to hope Simms takes a leap at this point

You can't offer up someone else's property and I think you ran out of sacrifices to give when you gave up Scorebot for Brunson.

I'm desperate man! What's The Bot worth?
Am I wrong to think we basically traded iHart for Bridges? I mean, I think I do that trade every day and Sunday.
You will with 3pt shooting and skilled wings and defense. We’ll miss the size and space and rebounding and grit, but I am confident this FO will find a solution.
NBA Championship awaits!

I agree. iHart is a role player who stepped up when Mitch went down. I believe he’s an example of Knicks player development at its best.
So I’m confident as well in Leon rose and Thibs development culture.

That’s where my mind’s at.
Mikal better be awesome, and OG better earn ALL of those dollars.
From Bondy:
That offer remained on the table until Hartenstein agreed to the balloon offer from the Thunder, which is front-loaded and not guaranteed in the third year, a source told The Post. Hartenstein’s salary next season will hover around $30 million, whereas the Knicks could only start at a shade more than $16 million in Year 1 of a new deal.
I'm sure OKC found away to up the ante and maximize that first year salary where the difference was impossible to match. There was probably a number in the low/mid 20s where iHart would have stayed for less, but this number is unbelievable. Never would have guessed they'd go that high.

It’s the Team’s medical staff that is going to have to earn their money! Back when Shaq was manhandling the league - I thought a team should just hire a couple NFL lineman and put them out there to hack a shaq and slow him down.
We do not need a 7 footer- we just need someone strong that will rebound and play defense.
Does this guy have any kids of college age:
Time Lord -- a lot like Mitch but runs floor very well
Theis intense, good defender, German too

How do you match his contract though ? There’s no logical way to trade for him that makes sense.
