Huk has gotten better as the games went on. Loved that baseline stop on Holland.

WE got summer league warm fuzzies.
Its a good thing. Looking forward to camp when the Varsity comes out and all get measured.

Maybe Daddy Eh fell in draft because he is young and stated he did not want to be stashed or relegated to Gleague without a fight?
Or, be given the kind path Duece got which was a hybrid.

Deuce was given a nice contract and I think it could be in response to his diligence and hard work, but also Deuce and his camp gave a discount for the opportunity. By that, sticking with a club and playing is super valuable to a future career. Look at Knox. Kid has talent but over time that opportunity slips when you go on a minimum year to year deal. Mudiay? Hezinga? Frank and Dennis smith bouncing about is not a good thing. You get left behind.
Deuce could find himself demoted by Kolek and maybe Rokas for many reasons not talent, but fit and winning. With that contract he could get traded and get playing time. I doubt that happens. Fact is he not far from being starter talent. That contract give him opportunity and some nice money. That or he tested free agency were bad things can happen.

be great if all our summer league guys can move with the Show. Kolek has been given the keys to run the team and doing very well. I think knicks did very well and by locking him up it said two things: "WE believe in you and we will give you the minutes and opportunity but you got to sign with us longer term". By that, we don't do that he leaves in two years to sign for real money if he plays well. At age 23 he is not going to be a star with max potential. But if he can stick in the league, get minutes, be a proven entity he could have a nice long career.

What players also want besides money is a path to be successful. RJ had it from day one but IQ really took advantage and did well. iHart as well but did TOO WELL!!! LOL......

Young players want somthing that can be more important than a short term pay day, "Opportunity". The right team, the right coach, the right system AT THE RIGHT TIME can make all the difference. Looks at John Starks!!!

Jokic and brunson, two of the top 5 MVP vote getters this past year are both Second round picks!!!!!

Can anyone tell us what happened to Alonzo Trier? My goodness, one short stint in Gleague and he has not been seen even in Europe or China since!!!! drugs? His two year deal not enough and he went all Diva and ignored? Seems almost black listed? Weird.

Its a tough business!!!

Skaps rebound numbers is always good but he not getting these contested rebounds in the 3rd.
Clean @ 7/20/2024 7:16 PM
Skap just pushed the fastbreak and dished a perfect pass. Impressive for a big.
Clean @ 7/20/2024 7:19 PM
Dadiet does a lot good but he struggles so much to hit his shots. Last game was an exception.
