The Knicks also tried to pry Landry Shamet away from the Clippers in that deal. Leon always gets his man.

And he wasn't even around! The guy is genius

How are the roster spots going to shake out?Hoopshype.com has 17 guys listed and 3 guys on two way deals.

Are Morris and Shamet essentially in competition with Diop and Okeke for the last two spots. Rosters are maxed out to 15 guys, right?

Stay tuned! Some will get injured, some might see a better deal/Role elsewhere, Rooks might be sent to westchester, etc etc.......

This is exactly it. I'd guess the expectation would be Morris and Shamet have the upper hand because of their experience. Their spots to lose.

Hopefully he makes the team. We need a tough veteran presence on the bench and in practice. Someone willing to come off the bench and get in guys faces in hostile environments

Every. Championship team needs a Kurt Thomas type of player. He helped us start the rebuild. Now he can help us bring home a chip. Will be a great story for him. Retire on a high note.

Kurt Thomas was a very good low post defender and rebounder. Morris is really a three point specialist and at this point he’s strictly a catch and shoot guy which is fine because we need that and Randle is going to be playing some Center next season

Morris can take and make the big 3 point shot at the end of the game. That’s what he brings.
