Knicks lose a sure thing 2 time all star, gain some all star player uncertainty but now you have the rim protection and depth at C and a long term contract that’s potentially gold. Knicks are a full switcharoo wing team. Other more efficient guys can pick up the offensive production? Hope that Jalen Johnson continues the breakout?

Knicks lose an offensive engine but rewarded with upside, cap flexibility, defense, youth, and a better backup C plan so Thibs doesn’t lose all his hair or croak.
