I used to be a huge Yankees fan as a kid.
After I discovered basketball, I've barely looked back. The game is just too slow.
Yankees through and through.

Let’s Go Mets!!
Whether you're a righteous Mets fan or a degenerate Yankees fan, I think we can all agree on one thing. Phuck the Phillies.

One of the worst cities to be an away fan! So yes!
Rooting for both. Enjoying Mets the last few days.
If they both make series, Then I will figure it out. Either way NYC wins!!!!
Bump.
These runs coming at a premium tonight, but Yankees just escaped 2nd & 3rd, 1 out.
2-1 into the 8th.
And because of frickin fan interference in the 9th, we've got extras.

if you were rooting for the Yankees. Unfortunately, I'm a Met fan that grew up with an older brother who was a Yankee fan and I could never quite accept the fact that the Yankees always seemed to be good and had won so many championships.
Part of me deep inside was happy to see them lose, but part of me does want them to win because NY.
First game and it was a great one. Cole pitched great for once. But the Yankees have to score more than 3 runs with all the offensive talent they have.
Can't wait for the game tonight!
Yankees and Jets seasons both over time for some knickerbocker basketball
Judge is struggling big time. Too critical of a spot for him to be putting up goose eggs.
Waiting to see the news on Ohtani...he hasn't done anything through 2 games either, but taking him out of the lineup can definitely change pitching tactics.
Hope Yanks can come back from Boone’s game 1 multi blunder game.
And Ohntani might miss time with his mild shoulder dislocation. Have to take advantage.
If Judge starts to hit, they got this.

They have to win game 3. If they don't, I think it is over. And I don't see how the Yankees keep Boone if they don't win the series.
And what the heck is wrong with Judge?
Pretty much a must win. Turn on the game- down 2 to 0 in the first - now, 3 to 0! Guys! It’s like the Yankees forgot how to win games.
Yankees are basically Judge, great for spurts, no-shows when it matters. They have made this a very boring World Series.
I hope Boone isn’t back next year.

As decent as Boone has been over the long haul (585 winning percentage is nothing to sneeze at) the Yankees have to change the manager. I mean, just look at what Mendoza did with the Mets - they were not supposed to compete, and somehow (magic of Grimace?) he managed to get them out of that dark hole they dug at the beginning of the year and got them to within 2 games of beating the Dodgers.
Boone has so much more talent, has been there for years, and can never quite get them to win when it matters.
The pattern seems to be - sprint out to a huge lead in the beginning of the season, coast playing barely 500 ball and then lose in the playoffs.
No credit to Dodgers pitching?
Cred to get thru season, Get the bye, win two series then face a superior opponent and we fire the guy?
Granted, if he has taken them as far as reasonable, then maybe its time. ITs the yankees, and George is omnipresent and will fire him from beyond!
Mets had by far the largest payroll. Mendoza was flat out failing. I would not say they were come cinderella team with low expectations. With a payroll like that there are expectations! Yankees fans (im one) rarely get to enjoy anything but a series win.
sucks that Judge has MVP year and can't do it on the biggest stage. But Stanton? His post season has been great. What we all expected for some time now! LOL, expectations!!! Former MVP who has shit the bed before.
Felt bad for Volpe the other day. Announcer doing the "This is the kid that grew up and replaced Jeter"......Get real, Jeter retired 10 years ago!!!!! Expectations not realistic. Would have been great. Media been building up the Ohtani/Judge thing for hype. credit dodger pitching.
Its not just Judge thats not hitting. Good pitching or bad hitting?
Need other guys to step up. It happens!
Brian Doyle says hello!
