It's a new Knicks world we are in when we are able to draft a kid in the first round(Dadiet)and not really have any expectations or dependency for him going into his rookie yr. But this thread is really to admire how far we've come. Where we can draft a kid like Kolek and he can get mentorship by a player like Brunson. Dadiet with no real expectations can be taken under the wing of quality players like OG, Mikal & Hart to mold and grow out his game. Hulkporti will have bigs like Towns and Mitch to learn off of.
Each of these guys can eventually become high end role players for the Knicks down the road if they put in the work and take advantage of the quality of talent they have access to learn off of.
I do like the Knicks replenished the pipeline, even if we are talking about role players. Kolek, Hukporti, Dadiet, maybe McCullar, plus the rights to Rokas and Nnaji. Not all will work out, but some will. This is how you fill out a roster with cheap talent in the new salary cap ecosystem.

Forgot about McCullar which Josh Hart would be a perfect mentor for.
