Knicks · It’s Friday! And two struggling franchises meet: Knicks vs Bucks- 7:30PM MSG (page 5)

Looked very fluid last night. I like how Brunson focused on facilitating while his shot was off. KAT is the EC Jokic. It seems everything changes when he’s shooting 3s at volume without hesitation.

I did see his paint defense is worst in the league this year. We gotta figure something out there. Hopefully more time with Precious is the answer.

Great bounce back win to stop the losing streak. Thibs had the team ready and razor sharp from the start. Got back to Knicks basketball outrebounding them 48-41 with 14 offensive rebounds and held them to under 100 points. Also 35 assists and just 7 turnovers. That's winning basketball!

Game ball goes to KAT. He was unstoppable! Could've had 50 of the game was close. Old man Lopez just couldn't stay with him. His 3pt shot is money right now and he's doing such a great job driving and finishing. Kudos to the Cap for finding him too. Brunson is still in a little bit of a shooting slump but he had a great floor general game with 9 assists (6 to KAT) and zero turnovers. His offense will come! This is a guy who dropped 40 point games in the playoffs with ease.

Props to Sims. By far his beat game of the season with 4 offensive rebounds. OG was super good defensively. Deuce with 14 off the bench. Kolek did some nice things out there too.

Bucks look dead. Doc needs to go and they need a big trade.

Yeah the missing piece IMHO is a PF that can help on defense and the boards and hit the 3 ball. Last night was promising but got see how KAT does against a better defender than Brook Lopez.

Yeah. Jonathan Isaac might be a good fit bit for the contract he just got to be a backup.

Yikes

OG got one of the widest, strongest, explosive bases in the NBA and the long arms and claws to go with it.

That bro is scary.

Watching OG manhandle Giannis should be a sportscenter top play of the day. The strength it takes to do that is crazy. They still do that sportscenter thing? I have not watched TV in over 5 years.

I know the bucks are a mess right now and Doc is dead man walking but man did we look good last night

This is surprising to me

I do wonder if a guy in the Ben Simmons mold of ball handling, passing, defense, set picks when ball not in hands role would be a good fit in that starting lineup. iHart version in a PF role with spacers.

You don’t want to take ball out of Brunson's hands too much.

6’8+ version of Josh.

We heard a lot of the same words with IQ, Deuce.

Vet min contract only for off bench next year

I'm guessing he might consider coming back with Doc Rivers as coach . Portis didnt like playing with so many PFs on the roster under the previous regime. But Knicks were accumulating short term deals for cap reasons, and to trade. Like Marcus Morris for a FRP.

They were rebuilding, but we're close to rebuilt now. Articles on Portis on the Bucks beat talk about him like he's over the Hill. If thats true, a change of scenery wont matter. Missed most of the game going to watch a Bucks game on league pass.

We get Precious back. I believe we're in good shape at the 4. OG has shown that he can defend all 5 positions this season. But maybe not having to spend a lot of time guarding faster SF's, might be better for his durabilty.

I like this but part of me wonders if our highest ceiling is nonstop Brunson/KAT action. Just a dominant combination on O. When we had our January streak of god like basketball last year, seemed like Brunson and Randle were each dropping 30 a night.

Bobby is a destitute mans version of KAT at this point. His defense is too poor to add anything to this team, IMHO. And he's not even hitting his shots right now. I'd consider it if the team still had iHart tho.

OG legs are freaky. Makes his upper body look small.
This kid is really something!

I did not watch the game. Did Giannis not guard KAT at all? Portis? I know OG was on Giannis, but was he guarding OG the whole time?

LivingLegend @ 11/9/2024 3:27 PM
Risacher (Hawks) 2-7 and 0-3 from 3 for 7 points last night. Muddafugga.

They did put Freak on Towns for a spell, but nothing was stopping KAT last night except shooter's wrist.
