His pts are down, but Assistas 4.4, up from 3.1 last year.
Rebounds are up from last year.
And he shoots 38% from the 3.
Seems like when we happy, we rabidly so. When we not, got to find some blame on with hate.
Jalen is "too much ISO"......
"Kat is soft"
"Mikal seems like he don't care"...
OG keeps falling down.
They fall becuase its less injuries from it. Fall is better than trying to stand on a twisted ankle.
His Toe is missing a nail......Better to fall.
Over past four games, Mikal has scored a total of 21 pts for a average of 5 points per game, shooting 29%

he needs a few days off, he is only human. Or a few games where he only plays less then 10 minutes for his streak.

This streak is silly. I mean, really, who gives a shit?
Think Mikal and his coach are not talking about his game?
That they measure these guys physical metrics in ways we can only imagine perhaps they can determine if fatique is the true cause based on some science?
If so they need to make the right call.
If he is injured, nagging injuires, or by some measure fatigued then yes, he should play less.
At the same time these guys are paid to "do their fucking jobs"!
Whats the point of this streak? Good question. Its one Mikal himself can really only answer.
I do admire his tenacity and devotion to it.

Funny, yes. Part of his "fucking job" is to score points. And based on what his status is in the league and what he's paid to be a starter on a contending team, his job is to sniff 15 points a game. Not 5.

Your not wrong!
At the end of the day I don't care as long as we win.
While the off season presents different questions my focus as a fan is this roster as is.
Unless we "make" the finals and he plays a huge part or "win" the finals and he is just "ok" ...he is getting traded....
Mikal Bridges might be missing his secret weapon choice for years = 【Chipotle]. Or it's no longer working perhaps.
That's what he said was his routine his whole career, lol.

Chipotle has gone downhill so that might be your answer right there
Bridges is getting traded this summer for sure unless he greatly improves his consistency. If someone offers two first round picks for him, we got to move on this summer and give those minutes to Diawara and Shamet, who both should be resigned.
We still need Bridges to play defense on Tatum and Brown. OG can only guard one of them at a time
We have a bunch of players that want to score or need to score. Especially in that starting lineup. The problem is there’s only one ball. And the person who dribbles that one ball the most (JB) is the leading scorer. Everybody else is left to pickup the crumbs. But we don’t have a lot of crumb snatchers.
Mikal (and towns) are better as the lead guy. In a complimentary role (next to JB) their value drops.
It only took 5 picks to learn that about Mikal, but the show must go on.

I still think his D is overrated. When he plays hard he’s very good but he floats around playing fake D most of the time. Regardless I’m pretty much over Bridges. I could care less how he plays, he’s not worth my time
Anyone else think he might just be stoned all the time?

Not that there’s anything wrong with that

I sometimes suspect Bridges is a Felix the Cat bobblehead doll

Oh man. No way. I focus on him a lot and his on ball and help defense is top notch. He has a different style than OG. OG uses length and power and quick side to side defense. Mikal defense uses length and speed and he can turn his hips quickly and on top of that his footwork for defense is elite. His footwork on defense is like Brunsons footwork on offense. If he wasn't a basketball player he would be a great cornerback.
His offense is tough to watch sometimes but it's tough to get any rhythm on 3s when you are running around defending the top offensive player on the other team. his primary offense also is the mid range and he is not getting those opportunities with Brunson and KAT. That's why his best games are when Kolek is playing. Kolek was finding him and feeding him. Kolek out of rotation then Bridges struggles.
Players struggles right now I blame the HC
I honestly don’t know what happened to bridges with his offense in Brooklyn he handled the ball a lot and created his own shot … he was a elite mid range shooter and a above average 3 point shooter …
We run zero plays for bridges ZERO … he had a trajectory of becoming the next rip Hamilton with a better 3 point shot . But he barely gets the ball … Josh hart gets the ball more than bridges .
I think not being apart of the offense is really effecting his game . Kinda like what we are seeing with towns this year .
It seems like bridges is a really passive person but this squad is ruining his reputation as a player .
We’ve been really stagnant and just watching Brunson pound the rock . The coaching staff needs to get our guys moving without the ball and we need to get Brunson to pass the ball sooner and play more off the ball.
Also what happened to hart shooting 3’s and punishing the defense for leaving him wide open for a minute there he was shooting over 40% from 3 . And now he’s refusing to shoot open looks.

My take on Hart is - he was out with an injury then came back when they were on the road. The players don’t practice on the road so he hasn’t put up to many shots to get his rhythm and confidence. Hart isn’t really a natural shooter so I imagine he works very hard at that part of his game but won’t even look at the basket until he feels like the ball will go in.

I don’t focus on Bridges that much. Let’s be real, he is invisible most of the time. What I always see is that he struggles to stay in front of his man and will not fight over a screen. These are 2 things Shammet is much better at. Bridges is always looking for help and relies on his freakishly long arms way too much. Whe he is the help defender. He will not get in front of or take contact. He mostly just waves his arm at the player he is now defending as they dribble past.
It’s very odd that we are watching the same player and seeing very different things
