Embarrassing how many shooting fouls called on the Knicks in the 4th quarter. I’d put every official under review.

I am still surprised at how much space Kat gives the team. The paint was so open that a less than a half a contest to a pump fake got Hart a layup.
I knew KAT could pass, but his passing is better than I thought. Jokic-esque at times. Huge new weapon and huge upgrade over Randle.

Yea he has been much better than advertised. He’s the next best thing to Jokic in that mold of player. His passing not only playmaking but outlet off the rebound ala Kevin Love is elite. His size is also very evident out there, he’s a force and completely unguardable. MVP caliber talent. His paint protection has gotten much better last few weeks also.
That 2nd quarter was championship level basketball. We looked like the Celtics out there pouring it on.

its incredible we got him for Randle and DDV. He's a franchise player in his prime, the best shooting big man in NBA history, and now the best rebounding big too.
Randle who was already a very flawed player, going into his 30's about to be a FA, becoming a bit injury prone and with his awful playoff track record.
Along with DDV, who we all liked but I questioned whether he was a true starting SG, we got him at the MLE and sold at the absolute highest level. A guy that has been on 5 teams in 5 years and had ONE really good season.
to turn those 2 guys into a legit MVP player was just an absolute fleece.
Balanced out having to overpay for MIkal.

Agreed. Trading Randle off injury and selling DDV at his highest to pluck KAT at his lowest value and bring him into MVP form was a masterclass deal. It’s wild KAT plays with Brunson and lets the game come to him totally and yet is still clearly the best player on this team.
I worried and still do a little about KAT at the 5 allowing for a championship level defense but the D seems to have gotten much better lately and KAT is out there impacting plays at the rim now.

Randle was always an enigma despite the impressive numbers, there were times alot of us would have GIVEN him away, times we felt we'd be better without him. Heck seeing the team with OG at the 4 last year DOMINATE made me question things again. MIN fans are going through the Randle experiment now too and they hate it.
To go from wanting to give him away to getting an MVP candidate for him... we are on another timeline right now of Knicks management. Where's STILLA?...lol
Another relaxing win with no stress! Nothing more relaxing and fun to me than just sitting there eating some good food and drinking a nice cold beverage watching the Knicks blow out a team!
So happy to see OG have a game like that against his former team. 31 points on 13/15 shooting along with his insane defense! I really wanted him to break the record for most consecutive shots made to start the game but he tied the record with 11 which is insane! You can tell OG really wanted this one! He rarely shows emotion and he screamed after a dunk! So much kudos to Leon Rose for this trade! I was not happy at the time but of course I was way off. I loved RJ and IQ but OG has elevated this team into contender status. We're like 39-13 with him in the lineup!
More kudos to Rose for signing Payne. He was on fire in that second quarter where we took control. He's such a pest on the court and I'm so glad he's our pest! We replaced a little of what DVo brought here with Payne in terms of shot making and attitude and energy. KAT with 31/10/7. You knew he'd bounce back and have a big game. And so good to see Emmy Rossum at courtside! She is so fine!
Only complaint really is Thibs leaving the starters in late when the game was decided. I so wished someone in the media would have the balls to ask him why he does it and better yet, I wish one of the assistants would get in his ear! I'm not in the thinking that a certain amount of minutes is bad or increases the risk of injury but it's just common sense. Riley and JVG used to do the same damn thing and it would drive me insane! I get teams can now come back easier cause of the three pointer but you can tell Toronto was not coming back last night.
Anyways, 4 in a row! Tomorrow will be a huge test against Wemby! I've heard his family members have been flying over Jersey in their space ships!
