Last two games remind me of a Ringo Starr track, "It Don't Come Easy." Maybe the PA system should start playing that after every heart stopping win.

I remember McBride mentoring Hukporti early in the year about gaining Thibs' trust. Tonight he put on an exhibition of exactly that.

3’s getting knocked up?

VDesai @ 2/20/2025 10:24 PM
Mikal said on the post game that he was lucky Vooch went to his right hand, but man thats not luck thats preparation and timing to play that side aggressive and make up about 8 inches in height at point blank range to make that block with the game at stake.

Knicks needed that W. Tommorow is a brutal back2back.

I love KAT. He is always in a good mood always positive and I had no idea he was as funny as he is. Coming from who he got traded for I really appreciate things like this.

Agree except how the hell did bridges end up on vouch w no big men in site to help? Amazing play. I think vouch rushed it a little

And did not foul him!!!

Credit Chicago that ran an effective play, they screened to get Vouch by also forcing knicks to guard the perimeter. They other 4 spread out. Double vouch someone is left open. Then we complain we did not guard the perimeter. Its not like knicks control everything, this is the NBA and the Bulls are not some god awful doormat record losing team with an interim coach over his head. Billy Donovan is HOF caliber coach.
Sometimes a team gets another's number. They were 2-0 vs knicks thus far this season.
Hornets went into LA with a chip on its shoulder and beat the Lakers who have two HOF players in Lebron and Doncic!
Shit happens.

Anyone like Deuce starting over Josh for spacing reasons? Feel like Deuce may be a better one-on-one defender but Josh obviously got the rebounding and intangibles thing going on, and is just bigger.

This is a point of conversation on the Knicks internet right now. I love the Deuce spacing, but I think you can't just swap Hart and Deuce and lose the rebounding and secondary creation Hart provides. Whatever you gain, I think you lose too much. The solution to me is Deuce should just play more. Instead of 23 mins Id like to see him push 28-30 mpg as he did for most of the last 2-3 months of last season. Take some minutes from Hart, OG and Mikal. We all know they can play 1-2 mins less and you can find the extra 5 Deuce mins. Deuce lineup combos have been good - Deuce out there with Hart is also good.

I think people need to be realistic about Precious. No one cares about guarding Precious in the corner. Brunson was calling for screens with KAT and even after the screens both guys are getting doubled because they are just freely helping off Precious who can't do enough offensively to hurt you. I am happy he has hit an occasional corner 3 and has occasionally put the ball on the floor, but there's still enough bricks or turnovers or wildly bad finishes to make him not be considered a threat. That being said he HAS to play right now, and has done some really good things defensively, including an amazing stop on White at the end of the game, but we can't solve the puzzle of having Precious out there offensively and Precious and Hart is really difficult to manage around.

Mikal was tremendous in the 4th and made one of the plays of the year. But what is up his flat 3 point shot? His release point is too high - he is short on everything. He seems to be a mechanical disaster when shooting from deep. Seems like its not an issue on his mid range, but he's short on everything deep and gets into long stretches where thats the case.

But holy hell, that was an electrifying block.

Probably be undefeated if they just let the man shoot from distance all the time.
