Last night with the Hawks loss
Portis, Sims and Dame are out for the Bucks.
Giannis is now upgraded to questionable (missed the last game). Have to assume he will play.
This is a huge game standings wise. Winning this one would mean a much higher likelihood that the Knicks/Bucks are a 3/6 matchup in the first round.

while I hate seeing Giannis in the first round that Bucks team is loaded with matchups for us to exploit. Lopez is still good around the basket but putting him on KAT is a disaster. I suspect they would put Giannis on KAT but that of course leaves OG cutting back door etc every time. If no Dame that's a huge loss for them. If Dame that's a big gain for us on offense as Brunson/Bridges/Josh will cook him any and every time.
Despite the good record we have a chance vs. Cle.
Boston is disgusting. They shoot 50 3s, make 20. They get 60 points off low effort 3s and save their energy for top shelf defense. Feels like the only hope is they have some cold games

potential play off preview.
We have to find a way to at least tread water these last 10 games or the Pacers might pass us. They are 8 & 2 and we are 5 & 5 in our last 10 games
If Kolek is starting they need to get his offense going. Whatever or however that looks. Otherwise it's gonna be a LOT of Delon

Brunson, in particular, cooked them the first two games. We will miss that this game, but I don't think they have a real answer for Jalen.

The good news is if they go 8-2 and we go 5-5 in our next 10 game we retain the 3 seed.

most dont but they REALLY dont... Milw two biggest weaknesses are covering a scoring PG and an athletic scoring 5.

the extra good news is Pacers only have 9 games left- so they can't go 8 & 2. And we just basically need to avoid a collapse of 2 & 8 proportions. Tonight goes a long way to making sure that doesn't happen. I wouldn't mind being the 4 seed and lining up with the Cavs vs. the Celtics, but Detroit worries me - they may be young and might have to lose one series before they figure things out next year. Or we could be the perfect match up for them.
I think I saw Thibs run out Hart/Precious/Mitch all at same time last game —- he can’t do that.
If Precious is going to play sub him early for Mikal or OG and have him play with Kat.
Can’t have >2 non-shooters on court together—- even 2 is too much and in some cases 1 (Hart) is too much.

he does it at some point every game. He has to learn how to stagger his rotation man.
Welp, come on up Delon Wright!
Delon starting over Kolek? Ouch

Down low, I think it’s a smart move. Means Thibs doesn't want to overwhelm Kolek.
We shall see.

I love Kolek, but he isn't ready so this is a good move. It looked awkward when he brought the ball up, but so far - looking ok.
