One of my favorite wins of the year. Loved how we played in this game at both ends. Total team effort! And one of Thibs best coached games imo too.
Kudos to both PGs! Down to our 3rd and 4th string and both Wright and Kolek played really well! Wright hitting those 2 threes early was huge! And Kolek with his usual flawless floor general game with 5 assists and 0 turnovers and was much more aggressive offensively taking it to the basket. OG with a monster game with 31 and Mikal were awesome too with 26! Hart with almost another triple double 13/14/8 but holy shit he pisses me off when he hesitates on an open shot! I don't even care if he air balls shots, he cannot pass up open looks! I really hope Thibs and the staff and his teammates are in his ear about this cause it's annoying!
Kudos to the bench! Mitch was great and controlled the glass with 10 boards, 4 on the offensive. Shamet FINALLY hit some shots!
Only complaint was probably KAT. He is so frustrating to watch on defense on some possessions cause he doesn't even try and it's even worse when he's in foul trouble. But he is who he is and that's not gonna change.
HAPPY 80TH BDAY TO CLYDE!

It was nice to see Breen call him out on the complaints to the refs, that needs to change.

makes up for some of the more forgettable, ugly games he's had.
As much as I troll him, I gotta give credit when he deserves it.
He was awesome!
So frustrating that Shamet's smooth looking jumper doesn't go down at a higher rate.
I was excited when we grabbed him and expected far more games like last night --- he provided a huge lift.
Breen mentioned this and it's so obvious with Shamet --- his confidence is easily lost. Hope he can keep going like last night.
Wonder how much that shoulder is affecting him still
I think the shoulder is good. But Shamet's shooting has always been a rollercoaster ride. It's the reason he's available for so cheap.

I had not watched him before he signed with us but that is what everyone who did said.

Believe me, you'd care if he was airballing shots!
Tommy posts some interest comparisons but it’s surface deep and that’s it, nothing added nothing gained. Just cherry stats.

Yea, single game plus/minus stats are not useful unless you are proving a pattern. For example, if the same lineup without a player is constantly in the negative but with that player its in the positive then you can use that. So many factors come into account for single game +/-. Sometimes you have to use it because the player does not have enough other stats to prove anything. Obviously the more other stats accumulate with more game time the less you rely on single game +/-. I would never use it as a comparison between players because they were on the floor with different lineups and vs different players.
Tommy only good for clicks, that’s his shtick. It’s a default substitute for better thought

I think this subject was brought up before.. He has his uses. You just have to curate which stats you pay attention to. When he starts adding a bunch of stats together and saying this player is the first to do it ever then that is obviously junk stats. In this case it's him comparing players with single game +/-. We already saw how Kolek was not ready to start yet so not sure what his point was with that comparison.
