Delon Wright is better for the Knicks than Cam Payne.

Right?

I'd say so. But if Wright isn't producing Cam can get run. Depends on matchups too. When Deuce returns rather have Wright and Deuce playing D and Wright making Deuce an off ball option.
, without going too small at the guards

Cam Payne has the best on/off net of any Knick this year. Circumstantial stat, but he has made an impact. He also gets the 2nd most 3 pt volume up behind Deuce. Knicks kinda need that shooting.

Delon offers better size...his 3 is falling now but his shot was awful with Milwaukee. But he is a disruptive defense. Kind of an old Keon Ellis.

Yep. Delon's size also makes him an option on the wing. You could play both. Would give you a nice fiesty defensive backcourt.

Kolek, where are thou? Ol Thibs gave you a benching for missing those 2 free throws. Even in a blowout he could not find minutes....

Always enjoy beating Young! This was one of the most prepared games we had all season. No slow start, we were ready from the jump. Took over in that second quarter. Hit 7 threes and outscored them 40-22. Game over.

Exactly what we needed on a Saturday afternoon! Very easy and relaxing game. KAT was great. Hawks had no answers for him. OG continued his strong play. He's jumped to another level the last few weeks. Hart with almost another triple double and I loved LOVED how he just let those threes fly. It's a bonus when he hits them but getting him to shoot them with confidence is key.

Good to have Payne back. Thibs has a tough decision to make choosing between him and Wright. Cause Wright has earned some time in the rotation. I guess it depends on who we play. If it's the Pistons, you want Wright on Cade. If it's against the Bucks and Dame isn't back, you probably go with Payne. Defense versus Offense and energy. But both are good options to have. Another great trade by Leon!

Psyched to get our Cap back! I did not think we would go 9-6 without him so credit to Thibs and the team! One win away from back to back 50 win seasons too!

Hate Josh's diva act getting mad after getting short his triple double.
I love that he walked it back and said to stay would be playing for the wrong reasons.
Love Thibs remarks saying Josh upset if he stays in or leaves!
All good, its ok they not always be wonderful to each other but in the end the maturity took hold!

All things being equal, they prob work McCullar into the rotation first.

Dadiet will be a scoring forward

I'm hopeful on McCullar (I'm not sure on him to any extent but I'm hopeful and see him as a legit 2/3 if shooting holds up).

Pacome looks sluggish / slow-twitch to me (especially at ~20 years old) - I see him longer term as a shooting PF (after adding some strength). Would be nice surprise if he turned into legit 3 and D.

Noticed this right away. Kat and our D is far superior if we have Kat attack the pick/roll rather than drop to no-mans land.

Yes and he could be better for Knicks than Josh Hart.

Is that a reach? Maybe but Delon takes care of the ball, is shooting his 3's and he is a solid/smart defender.

He's big enough to stick with 2-guards and still moves well enough to keep up with some quick points.

He's easy to root for. Cam I've liked but his lack of play making has started to become glaring - I do like that he's fearless.

Good points on Cam - I didn't realize his +/- was so good. I do like that he pushes the pace and gets 3's up.

His offense did look so hot despite the high assist/to ratio.

Outside of an open 3 he seemingly can only get a contested shot off about 4 feet from hoop on left side of lane - bag is limited.

In addition he can't just get into the lane - he requires a screen first and almost always going to his left otherwise he gets bogged down if going right.

He needs more work BUT he's a tough little guy.
