Like to see the fandom done, you know, separately, not all bunched up and layered on top of one another.

Yeah, we've been there.
No ill will against Detroit. Annoyed with Bickerstaff, and amused watching Ausar talking shit and looking mostly unimpressive. But I get it. I'd be outright pissed in their shoes, technicalities (back court rules) and context (no blood, no foul) aside. Let them vent after a painful loss, I don't really care (one of the perks to winning).
These have been 4 very hard fought games. Respect to them. Any of the games could have swung either way, but Knicks so far clearly look like the veteran team.
Still need to close out, and hope that happens tonight, but I don't expect getting this last win will be easy. JB and KAT have showed up - but seeing if they can close will be the next test for this team.
yeah this is my take. I dont buy any of that "more competitive that it should be" bullshit. Detroit has done everything they could and key guys missed a lot of shots the first couple of games. So far this series is a huge positive for me as I have seen Mikal and KAT show they have another (playoff) gear. KAT may not be a good defender but he's absolutely elevated his effort and impact. He's making tons of plays just being huge and athletic and that is so wildly important for what we do.
Mikal has also elevated his defensive game. Dude has been flying around doing everything on that side of the ball. He's been an utter menace on that side of that ball.
I dont think we beat Boston but I suddenly feel like they way those two are playing we have a puncher's chance I didnt think we had before. I always have confidence in OG/Brunson/Josh doing what they do and impacting the game. I like KAT/Mikal.. they are our guys, but their pure extra effort in this series has elevated my opinion of them.
They clearly did some coasting during the regular season but they also played a million minutes. Coach used to always yell at me for walking to the dugout from the outfield when the inning was over. "Cmon Mike hustle!" I was always like phuck that man Im tired from flying around covering all the ground these pudgies you play around me cant. But then again I'm not a pro athlete so there's that
Maybe if you'd listened you could have beat me down 33rd Street.

He looks a step slow to me as well. Defenders are getting to their spots before he does. Getting rejected a lot.
stoked
it will be 5 on 6 tonight.
OG or Mikal shows up with some average shooting and it's over, and not close. Place will be bumpin

No no... no revisionist history. It was your day. Earned.

That's just fabulous and exactly how I feel. Cade is great. Brunson is not only a performer but a legit and true leader who is only driven to win. Dude is so accountable. Love what I am seeing from KAT this series. Cade has been the 3rd best player.
I dont know what Cade gets a free pass as better than KAT either. KAT is an elite player. 24/13/3 and EFG%.584 vs. Cade's 26/9/6 EFG%.521 so yeah KAT is a center but he's also a more efficient scorer than Cade as well. Also he's coming off a very good post season last year.

Nalod and Blkexec both had knicks in 5!
It was a testosterone field prediction and Exec said he did it so he'd win his pool as few if no one had it in 5.
But here we are. Nalod gets some pride and Exec gets paid!
I don't think Detroit will be fazed by MSG but they could get tired. They are a nice team but don't have the talent. They got heart.
Knicks get tired? You bet. Keep the game close and maybe keep the minutes down for the starters fresh for the knock out punch in the 4th.
Sit on the bench or sit in the lock room

Kat is averaging 1.3 stls and 1.5 blks in the playoffs....Season is a marathon; guys take thier foot off the gas most nights, unless its a tight game in the 4th, last 2 mins. Mikal has been looking like a 1st team all NBA defenders in the playoffs.

Sad. Maybe they can grow a brain and have him do national broadcasts?

Those 2 I think were on WFAN and not MSG I would mute the tv and play the radio while watching Knicks
KAT not blocking out Duren. We need to clean that up
Man Knicks look kinda low energy
