That defense at the end of the game was masterclass. They learned from the previous play when Boston ran the same play. Both OG and Mitch got sticky with Horford so Tatum can't get a running start. Tatum chose poorly and went left towards Mikal help.

Agreed. Especially when they are jacking up threes and not attacking the rim.

They were actually attacking the rim when Mitch was out. When he came in they couldn't convert in the paint. They needed him off the floor

It’s pretty wild to see the wingstop vision which rarely showed its teeth all year and got waxed by Celtics 4x bear fruit at this level down the stretch of tight playoff games against the very team it was designed to stop. Absolute masterclass defense.

I dog Thibs for this offense and I’ll give him all the credit in the world for this defense. It’s almost like he kept his aces hidden all year as to not reveal his cards.
