Thibs take the heat when knicks lose.
He took the heat when he said "I need to do a better job coaching randle".
He did back that up the next season.
So Thibs can take some credit for the win.
OG and Mitch backed down a bit on that last play. They knew what to do and adjusted. Well coached team does that. They execute and adjust.
Looks to me OG sealed off Tatum and he was lookng to pass. Bridges blocked it and took it.
I'll take dead leg Jaylen Brown taking that shot. I'd have to see it again anyone would have been able to get there in time. No need. Bridges sealed off the passing lane. Done.
Irrefutable evidence. Luck? Always. Teams need it. One call somewhere in the game matters either way.

Do you want him to get AIDS?

I doubt he walked it too. fucking phony

Yeah he probably had a car drive him every other block and on the highway.
For the Tatum dunk in the last min where they took the lead, thats a clear moving screen by Horford on OG right? I was wondering how he got past OG and put Mitch in space so quickly.

Looks like he tried to make good on his bet. I'll give him that. Barefoot on concrete is tough lol.

I step on a pebble I'm headed to the hospital.

I can safely say we will never see another team who was a huge underdog win the first two games against the defending champs in their own backyard and do so by coming back down 20 in both games! You are witnessing history and a once in a lifetime experience so please cherish and enjoy it! I cannot put into words how proud I am of this team! Remember going into the playoffs we were all questioning if they were tough enough and mentally strong enough and I think we all had our doubts but that conversation is over. This is a tough gritty never give up resilient team! 5 straight road wins is unheard of! And give Thibs some credit and respect! He's outcoached Mazulla these first two games! Celtics play like there are 3 secs left on the shot clock and they have to chuck threes. 10/40 last night and Celtics have missed 75 threes over the last 2 games, the most in any 2-game span in NBA playoff history!
So happy and beyond proud of Mikal too! These end of the game defensive plays will live on in Knicks infamy! KAT was right when he says we have Captain Clutch in JB and a Captain Clutch on defense too. And Mikal scored 14 points in the 4th!
Josh freaking HART!! 23 points, 3/6 from three and hit a huge floater with like 3 minutes left to cut the lead down to 4 and then Captain Clutch went to work. OG didn't shoot it well but played just insane defense, had 4 steals, and had one of the craziest facials I've ever seen and shame on that POS zebra for calling it an offensive foul! Thankfully we ended up winning but that call just killed our momentum at that point. HATE NBA ZEBRAS!!! Only 3 FT attempts for KAT is such BS! He gets hit and mauled every damn time! Hope Thibs is sending these to that dummy Silver.
And last but not least, so happy and proud of Mitch! I mean that was the worst FT miss I've ever seen LMAO but at least it was an And1! But Mitch was great and has been great in this series. Mazulla fears him and that's why he goes to the Hack-a-Mitch to get him out of the game but Thibs completely outsmarted him with that last night. But man Mitch was a team high +19 and amazing how he moved his feet and stayed with Taum there at the end forcing him into a bad spot!
I warn you that series is not over. It's fine to be happy and hopefully but we are not there yet. These Celtics will be hard to kill. They were down 0-3 to the cHeat and won 3 straight to force a Game 7. And we suck at the Garden too. Have to find a way to get one. I'll feel good if we are 3-1 going back to Boston with 3 chances to close it out.
Great post.
I appreciated the win for the requisite 3 minutes.
3 times your norm?
It is playoffs I guess.
I may have even gone 4 minutes, but didn't want to brag.
The OG quote is awesome too … he is one of the most cerebral players I’ve seen play in a Knick uniform

Yup. Horford moves his screen just about every time
I still cannot believe we are up 2-0 in this series!!!

I think UK is pretty up to speed with what Josh is and how good he is. Really plays his role to perfection and it translates into good play and wins.
It's funny because there are these offense purists who think Josh is somehow hurting our spacing and we are too ISO centric. Meanwhile Josh is the best ball mover we have. He's the one who gets everyone involved. The only time he holds the ball is to set the half court, otherwise he's pushing, passing, driving and attacking or driving and dishing. He also sets quality screens and does so constantly and his scoring bag is underrated but always there when needed. His 3 point shooting is sus but late in games if he lets it fly how do you feel? History says good. Dude was like 0-5 and hit b2b clutch 3s in the 4th last year. Its Josh being Josh.
That being said the real demons are OG/Bridges. What they have done through 2 games is just insane.

The euphoria of this whole week has been through the roof. Linsanity has been the only thing to come close for me, and this has that beat IMO.

Are we up to DDV beating Philly level vibes yet?

Almost. Let's close out the series!
