If you were Rick Carlisle, how would you defend the knicks?
On defense i would go:
Siakam on KAT
Turner on OG
Hali on Hart
Nembhart on Jalen
Nestsmith on Bridges
Siakam can somehow hold his ground in the post against KAT and negate his 3pt shooting and drives on the perimeter
Turner cannot protect the paint anymore but OG mostly drive on straight lines so Turner would be able to follow.
Hali hides on Hart
their wing defenders try to take care of the rest.
KAT and Brunson cannot stopped but if they're less efficient, OG is the only one with a mismatch to exploit.

You will see a million Josh/Jalen PnRs to get Hali on Brunson. But this seems like a likely outcome. Although I think Rick will start out conventional with Turner on KAT.

Im starting to like this Josh/ Jalen PnRs. Just have to remember to get towns, OG especially and Mikal involved too.
Pacers PnR question. Do we guard the PnR with Haliburton similar to what we did vs Cade Cunningham?
The thing about Nesmith guarding Brunson is that will put pressure on another match up. That stretch of games where Brunson was out did wonders for OG's confidence and game. We have seen Mikal come into his own during the Celtics series. Josh is a nightly triple double threat and KAT has shown he can score against Indiana without any issues
Last year outside of Brunson, DDV was the only threat. This season lots of guys can go off in scoring.

It seems inevitable that someone is going to have a great favorable matchup this round. They can't match up with ALL of Brunson, Mikal, OG, Towns. They just don't have enough defensive weapons.

Don’t know if my nerves can take a game 1 loss.

I have a hard time seeing us win the serie without first winning game 1 but yes Knicks in 7.

I'll take Knicks in 5. Dominate when KAT is hot. Break even when he is frustrated by the calls. MitchBeast covers Deuce's defense on TJ McConnell giving the "second unit" a positive plus minus.

MitchBeast could potentially have another 2023 Cleveland experience to go along with KAT going all out scoring.
That's where I think Knicks can win it.
Still believe Knicks in 7
Man this feels like the original game when Miller put up those 7 points with a few seconds left on the clock. We had that game won too.

Eny is still alive!! How you been man?
Still around my brother. Been on the socials heavy. Miss the old crew
One game: World beaters
Next game: Chumps
This team is mentally weak. Many basketball flaws, yes, but every team that’s alive has it, even OKC as the series against Denver showed. But it’s the mentality and the strategy that wins you at this point of the season. We had enough spurts against Detroit and Boston, but wow, this team has reverted to their ineptitude at the worst time.
Nos discrediting the Pacers, who have come with the killer instinct, but what a colossal disappointment this team has been in the first two games. No matter the outcome the rest of the way, this just can’t continue. That’s why since the middle of the season up until now, I’ve been pro new coaching staff, and I still am. This team is the equivalent of a very intelligent and talented kid that slacks around until a good teacher straightens him. I wished it was Thibs, but I don’t believe it anymore.
Pacers are in the Knicks head. Down the stretch we played like we didn’t know what to do.
Split one of the next 2 games at Gainbridge. Knicks can win game 5 at the garden. If that happens game 6 at Indy can go either way the Knicks have been better on the road in the playoffs anyway.
