Cam won us an entire playoff game which probably makes him exceed expectations. For some reason now every time he comes in the game the refs immediately call 3 fouls on him. There will be another game where he gets hot from 3...I'm pretty confident about that.
Overall it has to be Towns. We live and die with Towns. We win when he's good and locked in on defense and we lose when he's doing stupid stuff and having lapses. I'm most dissapointed in him because I thought of change of scenery would create a renewed focus. Then he has a great game and it seems like he has finally understood how to play defense and then he makes the same old stupid mistake the next game.

Yeah this sounds right.
I have not yet watched last night debacle. How egregious were the 2 fouls that sent him to the bench in first half?

I think he's getting called for touch stuff. Last night was annoying - they called any and everything and there's been games where the refs call nothing. Brunson getting 5 fouls in a quarter when he's fouled out like one other time in his career is indicative of the fact that they were not calling the game the way they normally would. Pretty sure he was defending Brown exactly the way he has the entire series.

So you are saying the NBA bigwigs went straight from the draft lottery to making sure game 6 for Friday night Knicks in NY was going to happen because they already knew there was no way that Minny would lose to a Steph-less GSW team and needed to fill an empty Friday slot whilst under the cover of a Tatum injury adrenaline game?

Adam Silver fixed his biggest problem lol
The lack of ball movement is stagnating the offense. Looks like playground bball.

Exactly...JB is great but sometimes the iso's and dribbling definitely hurt the ball movement and pace of the game. Also, there a big difference on them hitting 3's but when nobody's with in 8 ft of them has to be something Thibs must address.

I would go further and say they will guarantee a game 7 in Boston so the Celtics get more revenue which they desperately need with their expensive roster. The don’t want the notoriously cheap Celtics to blow it up since next season will be without Tatum and with a huge payroll

So bad.
At the beginning of the season Cam was a nice change-of-pace off the bench, but he's been doing not much of anything lately, and we need a better primary PG backup.
This is the biggest problem if we’re being honest:

Low Offensive rating is not a problem. It is the result of a problem or problems. You can't fix Offensive rating directly. You can fix things like passing schemes, players played, shot selection, rest patterns, plays called, etc. Then your Offensive Rating will change accordingly. Its like saying the problem is that a team is losing.

The problem is that the starting unit who play WAY more minutes than any other 5 man combo is a negative unit and literally every other 5 man unit you can devise in our small rotation plays better.
So even within the same schemes other units do well but starters do not.

You can only do so much though right? GS did not get an extra game to showcase what is left with Steph

Bro got some inflated fouls stats

Haha this is so convenient
KAT needs to step up. In general we have some issues to tweak over the summer to make this team more dangerous, but all of the starters have shown up to varying degrees, with KAT being the only one with any dropoff, albeit minimum.
