Windy’s one of the good ones. Would have been funny without the vulgarity.

Love the win but only thing that thibs was bad about was leaving starters in with 7 minutes left 4 quarter thank god no injuries happened. Jalen and Rick Brunson had to tell thibs take out the starters every thing else deserves A grade for last night victory.

I mentioned this in one of the other threads but you have to wonder if Carlisle will take a page from the Celts and Pistons playbook and guard Kat with Siakum and put Truner on Hart so he can play free saftey and double Kat in the post.

What do they do against big lineup w Mitch and og too? We get all the rebounds

You always raise the disappointment level come playoff time.

Don't consider myself any type of minutes police but god darn I was stressing up +35 and he's got almost everyone out there.

I was watching Rick as well -- in my mind he was really anxious with everyone being out there and wasn't really enjoying things until we got everyone including Deuce off the court.

You better than that Martin, Massai has a Ring.
Siakim has a ring.
OG played 74 games and 10 in the playoffs before injury that year has a ring.

We in conf. finals after 25 years is super nice. Super fun, but really lose sense of history?
Celtics are in second apron hell with ownership changes and they were no doubt making changes and perhaps a third reiteration with Brown/tatum or one being traded with others to reboot for down the road. Not blow it up.
2013 we ended that teams run who also had a chip but that team was running from Father Time. We went to second round and all recall was Indy got us pretty good with JR and Melo kind of melting down physically.
We retired 5 players that year and did shit for years after while Boston rebooted.

They still have banners and memories for its fans. We create ours and should celebrate.

Sure its funny the dude yelling at windy but calling him names was stupid. He has a job to do and is good at it. He does not have hindsight like the fan. Plus, Windy does not have "believe". For that matter after game 5 it was justified to say Knicks don't have it locked up. Not vs a team that is still the defending champs and ran knicks off its court after a devastating injury.

Why is it necessary to shit on others after a taste of success? Celebrate the victory not enough anymore?

Actually I’m not better than that.

Massi had the good fortune of being able to trade for Kawhi for exactly 1 season and only because of the fraught and fractured relationship the player had with his own franchise and injury.

Every championship team needs luck. That was dumb luck.

What else has Massi done outside of that exact 1 move?

DLeethal @ 5/17/2025 6:07 PM
That Toronto team was absolutely loaded tbh

Besides Kawhi

Lowry
FVV
Norm Powell
Siakam
OG
Marc Gasol
Ibaka
Valuncunus

With Mitch on court for 124 minutes Knicks a +46.

With Mitch on bench for 169 minutes Knicks a -43.

Just WOW.

Wow. Boxing out and D from 5 (switchable) is THAT valuable to this team. Nothing more, nothing less

Nah, Melo was the NBA leading to scorer that year. We were robbed by reffing that the Pacers center was going " straight up" every time Melo drove to the rim. Even if those encounters go 50/50( they didn't)we move past the Pacers. Don't forget, everyone retired AFTER the season ended. That should have been a sweet run in the playoffs....

Good chance they win another one if Kawhi stays IMO
