Celtics also seemed to adjust (out of necessity) by putting Pritchard on Bridges. Pritchard was strong at navigating screens stayed stuck onto Bridges. Bridges did well in game 4 when matched up with White in terms of getting the separation to his spots.

Really hard to expect anything specific from this group -- we've seen them in clutch situations completely not show and we've been down 20 in every game of this series. How does a solid team and having won 3 games already in this series play so sloppily to fall behind +20 in every game. So Jekyll and Hyde it is laughable. We just got slaughtered by a Celtics team without Tatum & basically KP.
Celtics..
- 10-2 without Tatum this year (including Wed blowout)
- 9-2 in elimination games past 4 years
- over last 25 years Celtics are 38-17 (69% winning) when playing at the garden
- the 69% win percentage is higher than the Celtics winning % on their own home court (65%) of same 25 years
Knicks....
- I'm sure Kat will be hacking
- Josh will be lost on every rotation
- Jalen will be getting posted and go to the locker room injured 3 times
- Mikal won't see the foul line AGAIN and will miss every layup in layup lines
- OG will coat his hands with 2 sticks of butter
- Mitch will go back to 0-6 FT shooting
- refs will screw us at every opportunity
- Thibs won't switch a single screen but will choose to drop and chase.
In saying all of the above -- my prediction is Knicks win tonight.
And I have ZERO CONFIDENCE in that prediction.
and yet defending champs are down 3-2 after blowing leads and not making adjustments when the underdog team and maligned coach outplayed and outcoached them.Do you think Thibs had ANYTHING do do with this or it's pure luck Knicks are 3-2? Pretty sure this fanbase honestly believes he just runs em out there and hopes for the best.
You may have missed some sarcasm in my post.
But I stand by my WIN prediction and the up and down nature of this Knicks squad.
nah Im with you... especially the part about it being impossible to figure this group out. Everything is pretty much "yeah I can see that" except winning those two first in Boston. That was just nuts. Ive gone back and watched both comebacks and damn. They chucked and just killed it.
I think they win tonight also but damn Im all over the place. Happy hour.. I think it's now

I predicted the two comebacks on game threads.
Predicted bounce back win for Celts in game 3
Predicted win in game 4.
Predicted Brown would run offense better than Tatum and that other guys would step up for Celts in game 5.
I am predicting that my man Thibs will make adjustments and Celts supporting cast will tighten up.
I see an easy victory by my Knicks!
If I am wrong, I will send you my Walmart multicolored silk shirt that my third aunt on my cousins side gave me for my birthday!

Brunson gets everyone involved
Any kind of meaningful minutes from the bench McBride/MitchWe get those 3 and we win big
If this happens, we win. Need for 2 of the 3 of OG, KAT, Bridges to show up and play to their capabilities.
I am usually the one that criticizes JB for not getting others involved.
HOWEVER, I am calling/hoping he takes over early in the game like it’s the 4th quarter.
Get us off to a good start and the lead.
And that OG, Bridges and KAT helps us sustain it.
Also hoping Thibs uses Mitch more and gets him involved in some pick and rolls to the basket.

Would like him to cut off screens sometimes. He always chooses to pop for a three point shot.
Will make it harder for guys to defend him off screens.

Another real one.
The Junkman better leave his vaseline in Boston.
Hart better powder his shorts to make it easy for the referees to see if anyone is pulling a fast one.

where are the hard (har har) post game questions?
Hey Jalen why you tooting Josh's horn? Why twice, wasn't the first honk sufficient?
