I predict triple doubles for Precious the next three games.

Imagine Precious saves season.

why not? Mitch is hitting free throws...

By all accounts Siakim has been called great but Kat is actually putting up highly effeicient #s and averaging +3 boards more than Siakim/Turner combined.

Yes - his D is a dud but rebounding is also last line of defense.

Kat 52/46/84% --- 26 PPG & 12 RBS

vs.

Turner 54/24/70% --- 16 PPG & 4 RBS
Siakim 54/50/71% --- 26 PPG & 5 RBS

And his shots are difficult. He's essentially playing like a SG driving through waves of contact. He's a better shooter and passer than JB (who I love)

Indy has the best chance of beating OKC with their speed. Let them have at it this year.

Just not on our home floor! Take this back to Indy one more time!

VDesai @ 5/29/2025 6:25 PM
I don't want to start the double bigs again. We need Turner guarding KAT. With Mitch out there, Turner guards Mitch and Siakam can guard KAT and smoke KAT in transition.

Deuce is the right guy to start - we need 2 ballhandlers and more ball pressure on Haliburton.

GustavBahler @ 5/29/2025 6:38 PM
If it’s to be an L, I hope we go down fighting, and not a beatdown on home court. No matter how close it was at times, last game Pacers played like they wanted it more. Don’t want to see that happen in what could be the last game of the season.
VDesai @ 5/29/2025 6:59 PM
KAT is a gane time decision. Oh boy

If Mitch would actually show up (particularly defensively) I'm ok with him starting.

Duece D has been meh - and he makes us very small.

I suggested Wright who has plenty of playoff experience and who could guard Hali for a few minutes while leaving Mitch/Hart/Deuce/Shamet on bench

I think I'd rather see Boston win forever more than see the fucking Pacers ever win one. Assuming they get past us, I hope to christ Oklahoma crush them.

NYStateOfMind @ 5/29/2025 7:26 PM
I second that. Start Wright at PG, slide JB to the SG. Hit them hard with KAT early on, if he is not on early, sub for Mitch. Try to stagger KAT & JB as much as possible. Consider Deuce for KAL to start, if not, Hart, Deuce, Shamet, and Mitch from the bench. Thibs call timeouts to stop runs. Stop the dumb turnovers and foolish lazy fouls. When they do foul, foul hard across the hands and arms like they do, and even grab them. Get in rebound position, not hunt the ball. Pick up Hali full court and hit him hard from time to time. Set a pick and stop moving.

Everyone try to stay with your man for picks, not go under them. JB stop pretending to go at someone during the pick with your useless arm wave. Immediately get to your new assignment and allow OG or KAL to immediately close distance on Nesmith & Haliburton. It throws off everyone else, covering for your slow defense, and leaves 3s wide open. Pass the ball more and shoot sooner, iso until late in the clock, is death against pace teams and ones that can put up 130pts. Stop helping OG & KAL with double teams, they don't need it, and why we got them. Show some f'in heart & pride, don't complain, and for the love of God, always get back on Defense. If they still win then wish them luck in OKC and get better next year.

IF we go out, go out kicking and punching with emotion. This is NY, stand up!!!

EJ says KAT is starting. Will be critical to see how he's able to play through it. If he looks limited, he needs to sit. The defense has been brutal enough when healthy.
DLeethal @ 5/29/2025 7:46 PM
Just win one I guess

Net rating when Deuce is the on the floor shows huge 2 way impact. Shot gravity and more physical at the point of attack on D. Its not all him, but the team works better with him + a combo of 4 starters.

martin @ 5/29/2025 7:55 PM
OK here we go

VDesai @ 5/29/2025 7:57 PM
Back to the double bigs...

In Thibs we trust. Lets go Knicks!

VDesai @ 5/29/2025 8:07 PM
I hope the home crowd gives us a boost. Need it badly
ToddTT @ 5/29/2025 8:07 PM
She’s got legs.

VDesai @ 5/29/2025 8:10 PM
Very focused start
martin @ 5/29/2025 8:14 PM
Feel like the Knicks started with the double bigs and this is not representative

Thats just a bogus foul
NYStateOfMind @ 5/29/2025 8:17 PM
Touch BS foul call on KAT, but what's new? Followed by a dumb OG foul.
VDesai @ 5/29/2025 8:21 PM
I didnt think you could lean into a defender on those 3s to fake a foul anymore
