Hali and Pacers don't respect leads. They keep coming.
Dude is cold.
Hali just taking receipts on everyone!
Not saying I like the dude, but he earning respect.
They must not have cable in OKC.
On the bright side, it makes our loss a bit more palatable. Still... I hope Haliburton dies from a Chlymidia infection.
The NBA still playing games ? Who Cates?
Watching this game even early on and you could see the Pacers belonged on the floor with OKC.
Their team speed, depth, ball handling and ball movement allowed them to move OKC’s defense like most teams can’t.
- Hali had a mostly meh night but he still looks the part as a pass 1st lead guard opposite Shae
- Nesmith and Mathurin and even Toppin all looked solid vs the vaunted J Will
- Turner seemed to control both IHart and Holmgren
- Siakim was fine vs Dort/Holmgren
- Nembhart may have been biggest key both defensively on Shae and huge buckets late
- Pacers mostly matched OKC athleticism and physicality
Hali has such great feet (he glides like on skates) that even in a modest game he can redirect the ball/offense for Indy into better shots. He’s a real pain in ass.
At one point in 2nd half Indy had Siakim on court with Mathurin, Bryant, McConnell and Sheppard
Not exactly the 85 Lakers
I’m rooting for Pacers for a couple of reasons and yes I hate them.
- don;t want to start OKC dynasty
- don’t want to hear Mike/Doris/Richard on their collective knees sucking off SGA and Thunder
- I do think Pacers playing OKC tough does reflect better on Knicks vs a 4-0 OKC sweep would

I don't have dog in this fight but did turn on the game in the 4th when OKC had the lead and was curious if they can hold it. As it dwindled I found myself drawn to the drama unfolding like a thrilling movie. one possession game, time running out, Hali is doing his thing but not in the typical Hali Douche way he normally animates and Im like "This motherfucker gonna do OKC and that crowd?" Damn if he he did not rise up to the moment and execute it. It was not MSG and I was not upset, but in awe. In a way it validates what he did to us as legit and not just a fluke. Its why Thibs leaves his guys in until the game is out of reach.
What's done is done and time will tell if Leon is making the right moves or not.
As for Nembhard and Hali, they are legit.
I think the last final that I have watched was Lakers - Philly ( that Iverson team). I saw the Nets-Pistons too, so actually THAT was the last finals I watched. What NBA basketball has become I kinda hate. The fouls and the refs and the " can't breathe on these 4-5 players, it's a foul" but " these are the rest of NBA,hack away at your pleasure at them" I don't watch NBA outside of my Knicks. Now this relationship ( me and Knicks)can tolerate and withstand some tough conditions. The state of the NBA doesn't and cannot not take away from my Knicks interest.

Im very causal about how I watch other games. I was heading to bed and was checking the scores.
Im like this with most other sports. I check on baseball but don't watch. If yankees in post season, I watch some. If there is a high drama of players doing something special or a team, I might get drawn in. Im a fair weather type of fan with all but knicks.
Give we just played Indy 6 games in a row it pulled me in.
Many still sleeping on Indiana.
Mentioned many times going into series with them how they have been the best team in NBA last two months. Were healthy, had solid pieces, depth and big athletic defensive wings. Oh and as much as we hate him a kid with the clutch gene who always makes the right pass and makes others better.
Crazy that they won despite 24 TO’s.
But we lost because of Thibs.
Fire Rose and hire Pritchard thread?
I can't really root for the Pacers, but I have been saying all along that they have a decent chance to beat the Thunder and this series will not be a wash. You have to give them credit. We had our 20 pt comebacks, but what these guys have done against the clock is absurd.
With all due respect, the alternate thought of a Pacers dinasty, is alive... and it sickens my, otherwise, healthy digestive system,

Pacers are really just such a well balanced team. And they are severely underrated on defense because they play uptempo. Nesmith, Nembhard, Siakam are all really really good defenders and they have an elite shot blocking 5.
Siakam is probably the most underrated player of the last 5-10 years. This team really has no holes at all. Siakam gives them that deadly half court option when the game slows down, and when the game is fast they are as good as anyone. They play 5 out better than anyone not named the Celtics. Really just a tailor made team. Goes to show you how far "fit" can take you.
I suppose the only true hole they have is in the "power" department and they can get beat up on the boards like we did last year. They are small and weak 1-3. I thought we were gonna be able to exploit them with our wings size way more than we were able to do.
OKC took iHart out of the starting lineup to match down to them. I probably would have tried to bully them. The double big lineup was pretty effective for us.

I only caught glimpses of the game and felt the same way.
The O-K-C chant sounded lame to me

So how can the make the "Aura" better?
At the end of the day its a basketball game.
Twitter people are not authority. Nobody likes anyone but Breen and/or tilt to "The good old days".
What was wrong? thousands of midwest white fans in same color tee shirts standing thru the game being happy bothers people? Stand in the front row making every behind you stand is "Support".
I gets its awful, but is it that the arena does not have proper lighting? MSG and staples center used to darken the crowd lighting. Same arenas but not for Clipper games. it felt different!
But how did the finals not "Feel right"? Lakers or Celtics not there?
Or we just feeding dissent because social media likes to click negativity?
What a great game that was on the court!
LOL: "Blames" is the name of poster !!!! No wonder it got me.
