The guys above concluded best move would be OG, Mitch and Wiz pick and we use MLE to replace MITCH —- BUT —- they didn’t like any of the trades they proposed just said one above would be most palatable.

Only one ball, yes you get more offense, but I think you lose too much on defense. The Mitch/OG combo can wreck games - we have seen it far too infrequently.

I really question whether there is a way to maximize 3 scorers. Who do you want taking a step back among Jalen, KAT and Durant?

That wasn’t my proposal but to answer your question I’d prefer to see Jalen/KD maybe get less mins/volume and allow Kat to flourish. Jalen/KD can turn it in at end of games.

If that trade went down we’d need to hope Huck is ready to emerge plus maybe add a vet big.

Plus still need a vet ball handler who makes good decisions to limit Hart touches.

Flip side of losing OG/Mitch defense impact is you also lose the butter fingers.

Figured it would be Houston. Houston gives up one first and five seconds. I know they gave up some talent, but it makes me think of the Bridges trade, and what we gave up for him.

Would be consolation knowing that Bridges was coming off the bench next season. Better than long stretches of watching Brunson.

Durant had leverage in this because he is coming up on an extension. Kleiman, his agent, could easily back channel and 'trade for KD at your own risk, but he isn't signing with you.' Masai did it once with Kawaii, but this current Toronto team isn't a KD away from a title.

Congrats Houston! You’re going to suck for say… two or three years!

Oh, and enjoy the drama!

I thought Phoenix did ok in this deal - depending on what they going to do with Green/Brooks and if they hit on #10.
ramtour420 @ 6/22/2025 7:24 PM
Damn, Durant traded with a double discount there. Was the offer available to Costco Club card holders only?

I’m not wrong, right? This is their current roster’ish?

PG:
SG: Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks, Bradley Beal, Jalen Green, Grayson Allen
SF: Cody Martin, Ryann Dunn
PF:
C: Nick Richards, Oso Ighodaro

I wanted KD in Miami to speed up Riley retiring.

Yeah, that's the joke. The only NBA caliber players on their roster are shooting guards. Kinda like us years ago, but with power forwards. Maybe Grayson and Dillon can bulk up and give them minutes at the 4.
