Yeah I guess the 4 games really hurts him here.

As much as Id like to see Kolek settle into the backup PG position, Paul would give us a HOF backup PG. Paul played all 82 games last season, and we could offer the MLE. Would be a good mentor for Brunson as well.
He made it pretty clear I think he’s staying west coast near family.

Didnt hear that. Id give it a shot anyway.
Watched a Marshall Greene (Chat Sports) video where he was throwing out names for final FA for Knicks with vet min and I thought his top target was actually a very good choice.
He wants Donte Exum with our final vet min deal.
Big PG/SG that defends and can knock down 3. Could play limited minutes off of ALL of Brunson/Clarkson/Deuce.
He's a guy that could relive ball pressure off Jalen, take ball out of Clarkson's hands some and would add someone who could provide full-court and extended ball pressure to our D.
Think he's hit +40% on 3's past 2 years on limited volume but last year on roughly 2.3 attempts and played about 20 mins per game past 2 years.
Seth Curry of MerDermott or just bring back Shamet or Payne.

Do feel with more trust and playing time, Payne and Shamet would probably produce at a higher click.

Interesting we do need another guy who can handle the ball and let JB play off ball
We also need to advance the ball more w passing not dribbling. Gives us more time to do shit
Ben Simmons lurks. Get him on a minimum and a make good deal?
Not like he Milwaukee is an option for him.
I like come back stories. Soft, bad back, kardashian cursed, and either proves himself or just go on and retire.
Didn't Lamar Odom teach us anything? Kris Humphries? Tristan Thompson? the only one unscathed was Booker who might have been banging the only one that actually worked.

Let's hold out hope for Knicks superfan Tim Chalamet, aka Muad'Dib.
Exum re-signed with Dallas.
C Robinson/ Hukporti
PF Towns/ Yabusele
SF Anunoby/ Hart/ Dadiet
SG Bridges/ Clarkson
PG Brunson/ McBride/ Kolek
Assuming all things stay the same, and Nnaji or Diawara gets a spot, I think a wing shooter makes the most sense. Shamet is my choice. Next choice would be Alec Burks.
Shamet would be excellent. He plays way above his contract and is very undervalued as a defender. Can light it up from 3. Two way players don't grow on trees
I’ve been planting McCullar into that Sg/SF slot. I’m good if we run it back with Shamet but I think unless McCullar gets derailed by injury again, he has the higher upside and is closer to Josh Hart insurance.

Begley now saying Exum considered Knicks before re=upping with Mavs which I assume means Knicks wanted Exum.
That gives me hope (along with Simmons)that they are still looking for another solid ball handler and passer.
Have said that major weakness on this club is simply enough guys who can complete basic dribble/pass/shoot without turning ball over.
I guess a kid like Cole Anthony could be an option, maybe Brogdon.
I think I might prefer Brogdon next to Clarkson off the bench but that would mean Deuce starting or gone.
