The bedrock formed this era begins with Leon, the mysterious WWW, and the numerical Brock Aller. With Scott Perry and now Rosas they formed a quiet front office and roster culture with Thibs. The nucleaus built not fromt the draft but thru free agency that started with (pre Leon) Randle and then Jalen. Leon over saw the cultivation of Randle also as a trade asset who with another FA DDV enabled the KAT trade. Jalen acquired at little cost other than money and a pick needed so we could clear some cap space for him.
The "Nova" brotherhood and team friendly contracts all aggregate to the form our best era in over two decades resulting in our trip to the ECF's and now a solid base of talent moving forward. Thibs helped build it, taking it as far as he could, was paid well and now Mike Brown is tasked to elevate it further. They are in a prime position to succeed.
the 2024-25 campaign was successful but felt abrasive given the struggle of great talent to find a path resistant for many reasons. How far they go? Many questions to be answered. Tune in and find out!
The destiination is important but the journey is where the fun is.
That’s a shame for Cleveland

Oh man, you gave away the "Secret of the Crying Game"! LOL........
Dallas just waived O-Max, according to Shams. I really like that kids potential. I hope Knicks are doing due diligence on this.

Man drafted 2 years ago.
OKC has so many pics I wonder if they won't be waving some of their past pics as well. Ousmane Diemg a former lottery pic hasn't gotten any time with the big club, may be in the same boat as OMax. Plus OKC may just have to package current pics for future pics for pennies on the dollar. Perhaps the Knicks will be able to take advantage in the next few years. This new salary cap will force teams with solid rosters and little cap space to shed multiple picks to punt them and release younger players. Look at the Knicks roster we can't even add McCuller to the regular roster. Next year the Knicks will have a few incoming pics and can we even have them on the roster ?
sometimes you need a bit of a Chris smith on the roster to keep the main man happy at least for another year.....
Well, the Knicks will have 3 picks going in, and then will probably trade them, and then trade BACK for something else, and maybe move back while picking up a 37yo stash and then...
We about to find out how full of BS the league is. This is a huge deal and we will see if they treat it as such. Finally some investigative journalism instead of just breaking news a few minutes early.
Clean, League came down hard on Glen Taylor, Sterling and Sarver.
