Did you read the article?

The redeeming thing about the Clippers here is they don't get Leonard as a free agent if they don't get PG13.
So in a sense the trade as lobsided as it was on paper, and it was, is tilted a bit by leonard.
Given they rebuilt on the fly after a disaster of a start I was impressed they were able to make it to a play in game. I think they had the 3rd best record after january 1st, something like that.
Do not poach the Knicks coaches!

Last I read was they wanted new Exec to love on Billy Donovan so I think our staff is fine.
I will never understand what the Nets see in Marks and Fernandez.

Very often the Owners sets the agenda. So blaming Marks for Nets ventures into starphuching is likley not on him.
If so you fire his ass. Tsai wanted Durant and Kyrie. Situation could be Marks fully warned him if it did not work how it plays out and when. Thus, its not his "fault".
Jordi actually is doing a good job developing by some metrics. Given the lack of high picks they been kind of screwed.
Someone wants billy or he called his finanical advisor and he good.
Bulls have been a shit show and thats not ending anytime soon.
perhasp Milwaukee called and interested?
SAC?
Take a year off?
Hang out with Thibs?

I was looking for this. If things go south with Mike Brown this postseason....Billy would be my guy. I had been hoping he'd get the job ahead of all candidates last offseason. This much shake-up, this frequently couldn't be good for the team though.
I like Billy Donovan. In High School I used to ref games for rec league. Long time ago and got $25 a game! Billy was a pudgy 6th grader but with power. Billy did play high school football running back and was really good. Instead we know his path in Providence with Pitino and eventually a Knick briefly.......A Nalod degree of separation. Good kid then, an now HOF. HE used to come up to us after each game and with respect say "Good game REF, Thank you"...Not sarcastic, but serious.
Great playing career in NCAA and a few Chips with Florida. But, can we really say in the NBA he is great? Took OKC to finals but that on very talented young squad. Not taking anything away from him other than not sure what he brings to knicks that Brown cannot do at this juncture. My take is if this team can't orchestrate its talent With Thibs and a year later not get in and now maybe this group is not happy with Brown then perhaps we have to understand its not just the coach? Specify Im saying "IF" this is a thing then Leon has to make some moves change the make up of the roster. Can't offer a specified move to make as we don't know who it is or what the problem but only guess.
Lets see if Brown does anything egregious before we start firing him. We mad at him but whose to say really its an issue that can be addressed by his removal.

Or maybe back to college. Lots of $$ and less stress
Kudos to Booker for calling out the zebras! More and more players need to do this! They just do not call a fair whistle when OKC is playing.
Prayers up to Donte DiVincenzo. Looks like an Achilles tear. I'd still want that guy back in a Knicks uniform.
I seriously did not have the Wolves beating DEN with ANT and DDV out, on my bingo card. I was rooting for DEN on the basis that they'd be a tougher out against SAS; a legit competitor for the title. I suppose this helps us too because it will keep SAS fresh for OKC in the Conference Finals (especially since LAL will be no competition to OKC). Hopefully those two (OKC and SAS) slug it out so hard that we get a weakened version of its victor in the Finals.
Looking back, I just think it's funny how people had DEN as the 3rd title contender this season, with us on the outside looking in. Even with our erratic play, I thought we were 2nd only to OKC. Time will tell how that bares itself out.

Denver finished the season with a really good winning streak so it was not inconceivable.
The 82 game season for us was segmented by a strong start but a mid eyar swoon of 2-9 that required a readjustment of atttitude and Brown taking control back. "Do your fucking Job" was a very telling statemnet that perhaps in time we'll get more clarity of the lockeroom.
Out west Minny underperformed given its very on paper roster. Again, parity created seedings that are not always accurate.
Denver firing Malone BEFORE The playoffs last year proved to be a good move for them. What Nuggs did this year backfired. To save money they moved from Michael Porter and cam Johnson had a bad season. They paid Braun who has played just 44 games this year and fell back some. his 3pt % was awful. I think he'll be ok going foward.
Then there was Aaron Gordon who played just 36 games this year and gave it a good try for three games but was hurting. He really has become a very important part of the formula that perhaps would have freed up Cam Johnson (Played 54 games).
One might say Denver had a great season record wise given the injuries. Jamal Murray did have his best season as a pro to counter and that mattered!
Denver needed to cut salaries and it hurt the depth. Perhaps considering it all its not a suprise they got beat but given Minny's injuries it is.
Maybe Jules has finally overcome the one bad series vs. ATL 5 years ago? He had a very good series and his team advanced!
