That said keep in mind his tirade, gay slurs against Billy Kennedy. I have to imagine that entered the calculus, i.e., the referee brotherhood probably holding grudges

Laying on the hardwood floor and celebrating by drinking champagne with his adolescent kid was not a great look for him. That is the image that always come to mind for me when his name comes up
Rondo had some crazy games vs the Knicks back in the early 2010's. He was just ferocious.
