Yes
The Dadiet draft was a throw away draft. We needed a 1st rounder that would take less than max rookie scale so we could make moves. Not many people were wiling to do that.
We needed a 1st rounder that was prepared to stay in France and develop over there.
- like Josh defensive effort past 2 games - he’s moving his feet and up into offensive player without easy blow by
- same for Clarkson defensively and LOVE the diversity of his offensive game (making mostly solid decisions with a few crazy passes added in)
- OG handles and passes (OOF) but 5 steals and physical play
- Mikal has been a bit ignored past 2 games (limited shot attempts) but making right
- Jalen missed some bunnies but mostly played solid floor game with 9 assists
- Kat very aggressive and mostly good stuff (would like to see him make some passes off his drives) but 33 & 13 not too shabby
Ball is definitely moving a bit more decisively and with more purpose and we are sustaining more pace at least past few games
Bottom of bench looked like complete turd burglars in final 4 minutes or so —- Diawarra missed rim and clanked backboard on free throw (hard to do)
Yabu has shown absolutely ZERO offensively outside of shooting open 3, occasional offensive board and handing ball, off like it’s a hand grenade on perimeter
Would be nice if he showed a bit of back to basket game, a fadeaway or some ability to get to basket and finish (underwhelming thus far) but he seems like a good egg.
Oops I did forget his drive and kick to corner - that was definitely nice.

Clarkson kind of my favorite guy to watch -
So far we are great at home and S on the road
We will go as far as KAT can take us. We just need him to show up like this every game.

do we still own that pick?
Yep, transfers this year. It’s either the WAS 9-30 first, or if their pick is top 8, then we get their second rounder and most likely Minny second round pick. I think.
And Knicks will have their own first this year. Plently of trade toppers.
lost track with all the picks we traded.
Feels like we could have enough capital to make a big trade on draft night if we dont win it all.
KAT + our pick + WSH pick + picks we could get for OG would seem reasonable for Giannis.

Lord I hope not.
The kid gets time on the court given they are awful and have been.
Can't say Dadiet would be also at the same level but His rookie year we were final four team.
Offense was elite again scoring 119 points on 32 assists with 15/41 from three but we also missed a ton of open good looks. I really like how we're playing on this end and players seem to be buying in and moving the ball!
I love how KAT has played since that Milwaukee donut. He's playing smart, not picking up those early silly fouls, and attacking confidently. He dominated Sarr! LUNCH MEAT!! Poor kid go dunked on twice!
Good to see Josh Hart returning to form. Loved how he attacked the rim and let it fly from three and hit 2/4! We can only reach our maximum potential with Hart playing a this best. I truly believe that!
And Clarkson has played like a true 6th man these last two wins! He's a professional scorer but I like how effort on defense and he's also made some nice passes.
Defense still needs work and I think it's going to be an issue all season, especially with Mitch in and out of the lineup.
OG been bringing it this year
Ive always thought that if the player who got fouled made at least 1 FT on an assisted shot that didn't fall, an assist should show up in stats.
Against the lowly Wizards, but yes

George isn't afraid to dribble - Dadiet wouldn't even put the ball on the floor in Summer League.
I get your point though Nalod - hoping Pacome can break out but getting the feeling he is kind of sensitive (like Frank) and may have lost his confidence already (& maybe for good).
Well done. Starting to look good for the season.

Went down a rabbit hole and almost didn’t find my way out. Wasn’t really complaining

Just to add balance...

BING AND BONG
Something doesn't seem quite right with her appearance. Can't put my hands on exactly what
Just watching game and this was at end of first. Cam not the sharpest tool but super athletic so maybe we know why he dropped in draft and didn’t play much in Houston
