Time for Hukporto and Jamison to step it up. Mitch starts and someone else has to pick up the scoring loss. MITCH, OG, Hart, Bridges, Brunson with Clarkson, Deuce, Shamet, Yabu and Huk. Let's go boys.

Saw these stats noted on HoopsHype this AM and #s are mind boggling (at least to me).
Last year Brunson averaged 524 dribbles per game and had the ball for 8.8 minutes per game and 6.1 seconds per touch. All the highest in the league. This year Brunson averages 431 dribbles per game and has the ball for 7.7 minutes per game and 4.8 seconds per touch.
Thus far that is a huge decline in his on ball time BUT I'm still just amazed he is still dribbling over +430 times a game (I might have guessed 250 dribbles on the high end).
His #s in pick/roll are also down from 55 per 100 plays to 43 per 100 plays - thus far this year.

For the dribbles thing, what's norm for an all star PG level guy? That's the comparison

I wasn't commenting on Jalen vs Others -- I was just shocked at the high # of dribbles regardless of the player....didn't realize ball is hitting the floor that often. I'm sure there are a # of other guys (Shae, Luka, Ja, Garland) have high dribble counts.

Quick non-Knick comment.
Josh Giddy instincts/vision/passing are all off the charts - after watching him vs Knicks 2X and Sixers last night very impressive how he almost always makes the right read in terms of pass/shoot. Seems to always find right player. 26/11/11 on 53%/42% last 4 games and does it all in the flow of game.
Didn't think he had it in him.

Yabu needs to show something, as tight as we were financially, $6m was a big contract to give out to someone who right now looks like he should be a vet min at best.
thing is, i'm not sure he can help how slow footed he is and he's just not a good shooter.

Probably not tonight with Mitch back but if he doesn’t get going his $5.5M 2-year deal is probably very moveable (especially if some team has an expiring they want to move before losing) and can also be added with another contract (I think) for something more expensive.
What’s good is he won’t make/break season between now and when he could be moved —- would assume other teams think they could make him right.

Give it time. Remember how we were calling iHart trash his first few months? I've seen enough from him in Philly to know he can play

Julius mother-****ing Randle.
Every single one of us owes Julius thanks for ending 20 years of futility.
Hope he drops 50 tonight!
