Why is Mitch not playing? We’re getting killed on the boards
Mikal really is our best shooter
Momentum killers. Sacrilegious, but Brunson should have been sitting for a while now
I can't say this very often but Brunson absolutely cost us this game.

I was yelling "Give Mikal the ball" every single time Jalen started ISOing.
Bench was brutal tonight BUT neither Kat/Jalen guarded anyone.
Probably worst game I've seen Brunson play on both ends and Kat is basically Julius with peanut brain on D (always a step late or doing exactly opposite what situation calls for).
After early great play by Josh/Deuce they disappeared and basically became Mikal/Kat getting us some buckets.
Really a puky game -- nobody on Knicks bothering to box out Celtic scrubs and Brown continuing to allow Celtics to switch Brown onto Jalen.
Just a throw away game we should have cruised in.

Maybe better than Yabu who is a waste on the court.

Thank you - Yabu has been horrific.
Some saying he's playing better lately but that is wishful thinking at its best. He's scared and heavy and shows zero confidence on either end.

Could have something to do with his (-14), him being unable to guard the ball without getting torched and his inability to make 25% from FT line.

The real question is "why?"
Why is he STILL so horrible at free throws?
After 8 years in the NBA why is he not shooting 500 FT per day? Does he have something better to do? He obviously isn't practicing other offensive moves. All he has to do is hit free throwa
KAT is doing ok, we obviously need more from him because he is a star. Playing under the basket is brutal, and these non-calls are getting to him.... maybe he needs to just forget about them, anytime you complain about the non-call you take yourself out a little of the game....
I can't understand Mitch, he plays one game great, then goes into something unexplainable...... he lets players blow by him, looks clumsy.... and I can't understand how an NBA player can't shoot better FT percentage after all these years!!!
Boston went small and Brown is still a star.
Mazzulla coached a great game.
That small ball worked last night. Won't all the time. They are a good shooting team and swarmed KAT effectively.
Karl had a good game offensively. 12-19, 2-5 from deep, and 3-3 from the FT. Yet it felt bad? His optics are getting better I'll give him that. Not quite "stoic" (LOL) but he seems to be trying. Those 4 turnovers are scortched in our minds perhaps?
I don't have issues with Browns use of Mitch. The hack-a-mitch thing was effective. It broke the rhythm of the knicks.
MIkal was incredible and only reason we made it close. Jalen was really off. The shots were short,, looked like he had no lift.
Kolek is coming along.
The Thibsian weight is proverbially off of Mikal's shoulders, he was obviously being held back
This is not acceptable, like wtf
Frustrating loss. Probably the worst game of Brunson's NYK career shooting the ball (6/21, 1/8 3pt). But it happens to the best of 'em and he will bounce back.
Give Celtics their flowers. They played hard and earned it. That Jordan Walsh guy Josh Hart'ed us in the 4th with the offensive rebounds. And Brown was unguardable with 42. We really need OG against wings like him.
Respect to Mikal! He nearly won it by himself. Probably his best shooting game as a Knick (12/17, 8/12 3pt). Mitch at the line is concerning. I can accept 65% with his impact on the glass and defensively but 18% is unacceptable. We know he works hard and he cares so he'll put in the work but I think management needs to bring in someone new to work with him and maybe revamp his entire form and routine cause it's getting worse.
Also didn't like Kolek with Brunson minutes together. Too small and slow footed on defense.
Haven't seen the second half yet.
Jalen's worst game of the season. Also a team high 39 minutes. Brunson gets the longest rope on team but did the coach make the wrong move in not pulling him?
Feel like Jalen has this type of game about 2-3 times a year and coach Brown gotta recognize it.

This is the game I've been waiting to see from Mikal. Bummer it wasn't for a win.
I'll give him flowers!
We had a 24 point lead against TOR too and nearly gave it all up in one quarter. Gotta make sure we don't let down. I know a 14pt lead is nothing in today's game, but we gave that lead up just as fast as we did against TOR.
