I think we can safely say that the Knicks offense is pretty good

If OG had any handle he would be a superstar. Just can't trust him to dribble with a defender on him.
Great overall stretch of play for the Knicks
Knicks looked really good on both ends tonight.
I loved how in the last presser Mike Brown said that when the Knicks play defense, they have to lead with their chests, not arms, when making contact and KAT had two defensive plays where he did just that and prevented baskets.
It shows the Knicks are functioning as a team. Coach sees adjustments, players make them, and there are beneficial results on the court.
I think Knicks were 3-6 on the road going into this game. I don't think they had beaten any teams over .500 away from the Garden, so this was a quality win.
Frankly, I'd rather play Orlando than Miami. It's Vegas baby!

Not only Vegas, but the road in this year's playoffs will likely lead through at least one, if not both of those teams
Anyone think Brown offered to cover champagne bottle service if the Knicks started to play defense after the first?
Cause that's a good probability
Miami coming down to Earth a little - or suffering from the Banchero effect with Herro.
We have played 3 games against Orlando and have had 3 injuries, Brunson ankle, Shamet shoulder, Deuce ankle. Franz is a tough matchup for us and he's out, but this is gonna be a tough game.
Wish I could give that one fan a hug for talking trash to the Cap last night cause he clearly pissed him off. Not that he needs it since he is top 3 in first quarter scoring but whatever helps! And JB was on fire to start this game (20 in the 1st) and set the tone offensively. The defense was total crap in that first quarter but I don't think I've ever seen a game turn around from one quarter to the next defensively like we did from the first to that second quarter where we held Toronto to 11 points after they scored 39 in the first! KAT was some really good defensive plays and I think this was his best overall game this season! That block and dunk were insane!
Shout out to Josh Hart again. I feel like I'm copying and pasting what I say about him every game thread but he just continues to play so well! Crazy how he's knocking down threes after the concerns with his finger. He's just such a great and important player. Very few can do what he does in terms of playmaking, rebounding, increasing the tempo, setting the tone and creating and maintaining a culture and locker room. I put him right up there with guys like Oakley and Starks.
Good to see Clarkson bounce back and hit some shots too cause he was really bad the previous week. They really need to do something about Mitch's free throw struggles cause it's reached a point where we won't be able to play him in the playoffs unless it improves. I love Mitch and I know he cares and works on it but they need to bring in another expert or do something to help him cause whatever he's doing is just not working.
The players clearly care about the Cup so I'm super happy and excited for them!

I kind of wanted Miami even though they have had our number the last few decades but would've been cool to try and get that monkey off our backs!
Orlando won't be easy.
This is a wild level of memory and details, so good
Why some guy succeed and stick in the NBA
Who was that shooting coach that we hired on recommendation from Brunson? He needs a raise. He got Josh Hart shooting 39.8% from 3 on 4 3's a game. With Hart shooting this well he is the best role player in the league. Teams still have not adjusted their defense on him because they still leaving him wide open.

Just need him to start working with Mitch on his FTs now
Fouling Mitch every time yields about .4 points per possession, clearly a winning play every time. Thus far teams have been happy to make the game entertaining, but maybe the Magic flip the script Saturday night. Mitchell has to be told to switch his form to granny style, there's absolutely no arc on his shot now. Anything less than 50% is a win for the defense.

He can't be in the game id we have 4 team fouls or are over the limit.
This is one of my pet peeves with Mitch and why I often bitch about him - there is zero evidence he has ever put in ANY serious work on his skill set.
I get the offensive rebounds but now his D has slipped, his shot blocking is down and the free throw shooting even worse than career %.
