It's awesome to see a young, toolsey guy like Dia take to NBA development. We've whiffed on so many of those types (Anthony Randolph, Cam Reddish etc.) that I was starting to lose hope.
What's his contract status like next season ?
Yabusele would be much better if he friggin lost 10lbs

Knicks hitting up Bourbon Street tonight
I’m just going to leave my post from a few weeks ago here:
I'm ready to make a few bold statements:
1) He (Diawara)'s the best French player to ever play for or get drafted by the Knicks.
2) He's the best prospect that we've drafted since RJ Barrett (No disrespect to Deuce)
This kid looks to be 6'11 and can do everything. He can pass, he can handle the ball like a PG, he can shoot, he can dribble penetrate to the basket, he can play defense, he can rebound, and even block shots. Once he develops a post game like OG did it's a wrap! Unbelieveable to get a kid with this talent at the tail end of the draft. He looks like a lottery pick to me. He kind of reminds me of what Jared Jeffries was supposed to be when he got drafted out of Indiana, but never became. And to top it off he is being mentored by the two best possible players for him to follow: Mikal and OG.
It reminds me of when we were watching Deuce early on and you could see there was something different about him than the other scrubs we drafted in the past (i.e. Toney Douglas, Frank Williams, etc). We have literally hit the jackpot, we got a lottery pick with a 50 something pick, and because of where he was pick there's absolutely no pressure or expectations on him. If we drafted him with let's say a 10th pick, there would be all of this pressure on him and the organization around his development. We can just slowly bring him along and keep him under the radar until after the trade deadline. Last year our offense started off blazing then the league adjusted and figured us out once they got film on us. They're going to do the same again this year but this time we got an adjustment to their adjustment-- a skinny French kid named Mohamed Diawara!

So anyone want to trade for Bey like many of us proposed ? He looked good. NO probably would want Diawara ? Diawara missed some point blank shots but impressed other wise. Looked great ! Yabu contributed, despite some brain farts. Yabu can contribute if he finds his confidence. Team is deep
Btw shoutout to Deuce for being clutch. We have been missing his defense. I’m willing to bet we would have pulled out those games against Minny and Philly if he played.

Tonight Deuce's clutchness closed out the game much the same as Anunoby's did on Saturday night.

Diawara is off limits, but if they’re willing to do some combo of Dadiet, Yabu, and Shamet then we should think about it. It would give us someone other than Clarkson that can go one on one and get a bucket. That would be key to have in the playoffs.
I got caught up in the game, why didnt Mo play more in the second half? He was blazing early on
And this game was so much fun to watch the kids

Got to give to get. NO not taking those guys.
Trey Jamison is Mike Brown’s long lost son, right? We all agree on this?

Yeah we can’t move Diawara with what he’s showing right now

Yes, the love child of Mike Brown and Horace Grant

Diawara is going nowhere
This is a FO that locked in Deuce cheap.
Diawara now looks like Deuce x 3 as an asset. They'll find a way to extend him for as long as they can at a decent price.

Every night another surprise.Last game Mcculler and tonight Diawara. Plus the entire roster played minus Dadiet. And they all contributed. What happens to Hukporti ?

Might have gotten a tooth knocked out but I missed the injury if they announced
