That pass threading the needle from Kolek to Bridges was freaking sick
Kolek has such a good feel for just making the right plays

He was really good tonight. Love watching him play. His game is so pure

Yes, we aren't trading for Giannis anymore
Ugly win but we needed this!

Psycho white boy, need that

We needed the W and I hate Harden.

Saw more defensive intensity tonight. Like one of the announcers said clips are the oldest team in the league and looked gassed second half so we took advantage
33 minutes or less for starters, even with Hart out. Thats good.
Need more Kolek imho

This is the way!
QUESTION:
Has Mitch been any good lately?
Tonight, while the rest of the team was fairly solid, I found myself wondering the whole time what exactly is Mitch doing out there?
He seems so unfocused and random and not particularly effective at anything lately.
Anybody else getting that feeling?

Maybe KAT and Mitch funking cause of trades
Good game by Yabusele. The way he played yesterday is what I was expecting when we signed him. I even liked that missed dunk he had because it showed he was trying to be aggressive. If he can keep that up, I’m fine with him staying around.
On another note, I liked those plays where KAT threw alley oops to Mitch. We should run that way more often.

Mitch has bad runs like anyone else, don't let it fool you. we had people here last year saying we should trade him. come playoff time if he's healthy he will be a game changer once he locks in.
Much needed win. I'm not convinced we are good yet though. I was watching pretty closely early in the game, and man Jalen's defense was just horrendous. His effort was awful on that end. He doesn't look fully himself to me, in terms of being locked in. Also, the non JB KAT minutes when he is paired with Kolek are so critical to this team. He was terrible in the first half and we got spanked. He did his thing in the second half and we separated ourself. We need him to carry those minutes, it's a huge part of what appeared to separate this team from last years team, winning those minutes.
OG, Mikal, still look mediocre. KAT was hot/cold and very sloppy. Offense wasn't THAT sharp. We didn't dominate the boards, our bigs actually got bodied. I'm happy we won vs a veteran team that won 7 of their last 8, but I did not see anything that tells me we turned a corner last night. Sometimes recovery out of a slump doesn't come in the form of a V-shape though.
One thing I will say is, when Brown expands the rotation and starts to go all over the place, the team has played its worse ball of the season. When he reins it in, we play better. He played 9 guys last night, not 11 or 12, in a normal rotation.
its crazy that people expected Thibs to go 10-11 deep last year WITHOUT having Mitch, Shamet or Clarkson. And with Kolek being a rookie.

Had 9 boards and 2 blocks in 24 minutes.

Last year all 5 starters I believe were top 15 in minutes, with 3 of them being in the top 5. That's not normal. Mike Brown still ran a bench out there when guys have gone down and they performed. Out of panic and necessity, Thibs tried to tap into his deeper bench for the first time all year in the ECF. Thibs should have empowered more guys last year off the bench and managed the starters minutes better. But obviously no one thinks he should have gone 11 deep, and no one thinks Brown should go 11 deep.
