Not going to lie, I'm pissed. I don't care that KAT and OG did not play. You cannot get embarrassed like that again! We didn't do anything we were doing during the win streak! Nobody played well.
Detroit has our number and we better play a lot better if we want to beat them again.
The stretch of losing 9 of eleven really got me down on this team. Then the winning streak reminded me of what they can do when they focus. This game is just a reminder that this team is mostly a box of chocolates and you never really know what you are gonna get. Yes, we were down some bodies but that’s no excuse for such a poor showing on both ends. Maybe this team isn’t immature and instead they are literally bipolar.
Whatever it is, this one was embarrassing no matter what happened before. I really like Detroit’s mentality of being dogs whenever they go out there and they have definitely marked NY as a game to always show up and dominate. We just have yet to show up ourselves in one of those games and that is extremely disappointing coming from a supposed contender.
On to the next one in this wild season.

Didn't watch ( game started at like 3:30 am where I live) and I will not watch this as I am not a masochist. My best guess is we lost because we didn't pass the ball with a purpose.Afterall , Washington had 30 assists when they beatthe Pistons. Usually, the only thing that really works against great defenses is better passing. One way to compound that mistake is for Brunson to go into hero mode instead of involving his teammates. Looking at the stats, this approach resulted in a brick house built by Jalen .Or maybe we were just missing OG's 20 points and defense and Towns double double and assists , which helps get guys going on offense. Good recap from someone who didn't watch? Or am I off base?
DET is a really tough defensive team, they foul all game and put the onus on the refs to call it. they are a tough reg season matchup for us because most teams don't play like that in the reg season. but come playoff time, that advantage kind of goes away for them because most teams play that way in the playoffs and we will be 100% ready to play that game, but their physicality kind of catches teams off guard in the reg season I think.
Brown needs to start working the media and complain about these fouls and non calls. Need to study the art of coaching from Phil Jackson

Funny, we win 8 in a row, our defense was tops in the league, and Kat got very little love. Its not his specialty. His defense improved, his offense efficiency was great. Granted, Mitch's play is a big part of it. But he plays 20 minutes. Some of that is with Kat.
OG gets little love unless he makes a big play.
We single out Mikal if his box score is not great even after a win.
In the streak,, Brunson had some stinkers.
But......
others stepted up. Including KAT!
If we are to contend it will be with everyone doing their fucking jobs!
