I agree with Jonathan Macri about this team. Can't wait to blow it up. I just don't like the players.

I don't share this sentiment. We are probably the most dangerous team in the East. Not the most consistent, so likely no Championship this year. But I definitely would not want to face us in the playoffs. When we are on it's freaking murder. When we are off we are average. I want continuity. I want development. I want us to actually run Browns offense. Our D is surprisingly elite. Who would have thunk it.
Knicks are 37-22 coming off the East Finals and several playoff appearances in a row. Yet Knicks fans want to blow it up.
I wish jets fans could be this willing to blow it up and tank they literally think Derek Carr is winning the Super Bowl next Fall.
We are 4/5 a great defensive team. We are 4/5 a great offensive team. We all agree the offense looks stagnant much of the time Brunson dominates the ball. I would sell high on Brunson as the team built around Brunson is a very good team but needs a PG that can score but facilitate more. The approach has to be for Brunson to get his teammates going and then try to get himself going (as needed) as the game continues. Brunson's opposite approach works really well much of the time until we run into the better defensive and tougher teams (eg Pistons, Spurs). Seems to fit why we beat up on lesser teams with Brunson scoring big but are inconsistent vs the better teams. The irony is we overlook much of Brunson's poor shooting nights/play and assign the blame to Bridges, KAT and OG when they are trying to figure out how to score and contribute around Brunson every game. Hard to be consistent when some games it's scraps/kick outs and other games Brunson doesn't have it going which stunts everyone else because we keep playing this certain style.
Lately when they focus on KAT it does seems to help ball movement as KAT can pass a bit and seems more willing to share the ball. Swap (a healthy) Haliburton for Brunson and we are a more potent team offensively and defensively. Now I can't stand Haliburton but the point is we would benefit greatly from less iso ball.

Right on point. But it's not just Brunson who needs to get better at involving others. It's also the offensive concepts and it's also other guys who need to put themselves into positions where they can receive the ball with an advantage. Similar things apply to when Towns has the ball up high, he actually looks for guys but they are too busy looking at the hardwood instead of cutting to the hoop. So this, effectively,makes both Towns and Brunson double threats behind the 3 point line instead of triple threats. There is no one to pass to who is in a better position to score
Perhps this team is still a work in progress with new coach and new schematic being in place and executed.
So "blowing it up" after a loss is fans perogative and I can see all kinds of articles on the UK front page that suggests patience or installs anger and angst.
It takes a special talent to see into the future. I don't have that but I know it a team can still come together and do something special.
Im not easliy swayed by results and angered by disappointment.
If one wants to shut down their emotions and look foward to next year have at it. If team makes a run then what? Or if it falls short you get to do the "told you so" thing?
I'm not there yet but I cannot blame if some fans are. Let's see how this entitled arrogant team does in the playoffs.
As for changes......
Naturally I'd look at a Giannis deal but not like he comes for free, so there is both a cost on the roster and future opportunity costs to consider.
There is the Mitch thing.
Without a replacement concept rooted in reality to move on from either or both of Mikal and Josh might be the path to solidify the position.
Our Depth is impressive but our execution is not. Can that be resolved this season and the Knicks have another gear/taller ceiling? We'll find out soon enough.
CAVS are the hottest team in the NBA the past 2 months, 14-3 record. They won 64 games last season. Is it really that crazy that they won at home last night? They havent lost a home game since Jan 12th.
The only really unlikeable guy on this team is KAT TBH.

And he is the most talented one too. Why is he always smiling? Is there something funny when he does not get calls? I don't understand it. Is it a defensive mechanism? Recognizing your mistakes and fixing them is one approach. We have come a long way to as a fanbase when people want to blow up a 37-22 team coming off an ECF. I think being good and giving ourselves a chance each year is important. The grass isn’t always greener. Sure I’d upgrade when opportunity comes, but I generally like the team and the players on it. Brunson is our modern Ewing. KAT, OG, Mikal and Hart are a good supporting cast. Not perfect but really good. McBride and Diawara are excellent players on the younger side that offer some variability if they improve. And we have Mitch as well. I’m good.

I saw a headline somewhere that Brunson and KAT got into a heated exchange in the lockeroom and had to be separated. I don’t know if it’s true but I hope it is. These two need to work it out. Brunson freezing out Towns is a real issue that they need to address. I thought Brunson used to do that to Randle also so it could be something baked into his style of play

Been to both. Galapagos we spend 7 nights on a boat with just 16 passangers. My 2 kids myself included. No tv, internet, etc for a full week! Wonderful place! THis was part of a 20 day trip in 2008. Great memories. Croatia is fantastic. Both sides of the Adriatic in fact are great. Lessor traveled parts of Italy don't have the tourist crowds and very Chill. My favorite was Matera. Beginning of last james bond movie filmed there.
