Y'all have a lot to say in this thread
This was me on February 25th with no edits.
Some of you have some harsh comments on this thread becuase you felt harsh.
It happend. Glad it worked itself through.
Me? As I said, I did not see it but as some of you sometimes accusing me of "Being above it" at times....in hindsight, I was.

So "blowing it up" after a loss is fans perogative and I can see all kinds of articles on the UK front page that suggests patience or installs anger and angst.
It takes a special talent to see into the future. I don't have that but I know it a team can still come together and do something special.
Im not easliy swayed by results and angered by disappointment.
If one wants to shut down their emotions and look foward to next year have at it. If team makes a run then what? Or if it falls short you get to do the "told you so" thing?

If Brunson were as fragile as you are about people critiquing his game he would have been out of the league by now.
We were never going to the Finals if his usage remained at earlier rates and his over-dependence on ISO ball had continued. The shift was necessary and the result has been marvelous.
Now Brunson is indeed leading us to the Finals, exactly because he made the changes he was being criticized for.
Stop being so soft and calling people haters for making valid observations that have been proven to be exactly right in their assessments.
I'm tired of pansy comments about people making analytical statements that are based in reality. It is not "hate" because you say it is. It came from people who follow the team just as rigorously as anyone else here observing the flaws in strategy and stating what needs to change for that to improve. Toughen up.
Brunson would be the first person to admit the adjustments he made have contributed to better team play and the current 10 game winning streak.
LoL. The OP, you and others were essentially calling it quits on the season. You were calling for Giannis. Not sure how any of that is "analytical" observations. What it is is cushy soft...I and some others hung in there at all times. You quit and now are riding the wave of winning as if you were with the team all along and weren't a quitter.
IMO you should turn in your fan card.
I've been engaged the whole time. Brunson is a bad ass, but even bad asses need to play team basketball to win a championship. Quit my azz.
FU Clown

I wasn’t wrong
..but its hilarious going back and reading some of these comments, LOL

And telling people they were wrong. WTF?
I've been saying since mid-season the offense should flow through KAT more. A few more people started to chime in on that point afterwards. It is all part and parcel with adjusting Brunson's game to fit his teammates. And you could say the same about KAT. But adjustments were required to really get the value out of the talent of the team and be good enough to go against the best teams in the playoffs.
They made the exact adjustments we were advocating for and now people want to tell us we're not true fans because we gave up on the team. Ridiculous.
Like your quote said, it was going to come down to Brunson or Brown or both. This was when the discussion about whether Brunson was running the team or Brown was came up. The question was did Brown have the juice to get the team to play the way he was hired to get them to play or was Brunson going to resist it? And Brunson resisted it the whole season basically.
The one thing I got wrong was the role of his father. Maybe he was the reason Jalen shifted during the ATL series, because the style of ball we started playing came from Brunson giving up more of the control and KAT becoming the hub as much as possible. And it worked. Everything we advocated for happened and that makes us wrong? or bad fans? FOH with that lame fan card sh!t
Dude…you need to relax. That was a tongue in cheek comment, hence the crazy looking green emoji.
We were all collectively frustrated earlier this year and trying to make sense of it. If anything, this should have taught to maybe be a bit more patient and let things play out. Anyway…it’s over now. We’re in a good place now.

Just don't like fans telling other fans how to be fans. Agreeing to disagree is the best policy
I'm totally satisfied with the result now, so it's all good
So it wasn't the years of losing seasons that caused all the arguments after all.

Was that a jinx post, or anti-jinx post? I'm confused!

It was the great famine that did it

The grass isn’t always greener. Sure I’d upgrade when opportunity comes, but I generally like the team and the players on it. Brunson is our modern Ewing. KAT, OG, Mikal and Hart are a good supporting cast. Not perfect but really good. McBride and Diawara are excellent players on the younger side that offer some variability if they improve. And we have Mitch as well. I’m good.
I saw a headline somewhere that Brunson and KAT got into a heated exchange in the lockeroom and had to be separated. I don’t know if it’s true but I hope it is. These two need to work it out. Brunson freezing out Towns is a real issue that they need to address. I thought Brunson used to do that to Randle also so it could be something baked into his style of play
Looks like they worked it out 😁
BTW - anybody regretting not trading the entire team and all our picks for the Spider Donovan Mitchell

Had the Jazz accepted the offer of Mitch, Barrett, Quickley, Toppin and 3 FRPs for Mitchell, we essentially would have Mitchell instead of OG, Mikal, and Mitch. That was the trade. Obviously there would be more dominos as a result, but that is the direct impact.

Its your way of deflecting. This is your epstien file.

Yes I think that’s where Leon drew the line. Ainge wanted everyone and everything.

Have you ever looked at your post count and wondered ‘well geez, I have 20k posts’? There’s a story there

Deflecting?
I was pretty sure that this post of mine, again, unforced/unsolicited, was an admission of error with tongue in cheek:
Panos wrote:Best anti-jinx thread ever. Lit a fire under their asses. You welcome!
However, since you're either dense, or in need of an explicit Mea Culpa, I'll say explicitly, "I was wrong about blowing up this team". Hope you can sleep better at night now.
I'm man enough to actually express an opinion and man enough to admit I was wrong about it.
"My Epstein file." Give me a F***ing break. Comparing an opinion on what was a middling basketball team with a sex offender. You're sad.
I really should put you on "ignore" since you actually never have anything real to say, but since yours are like 40% of the posts, it would make reading this site pretty weird.
