Isn't that the gesture Brunson does after a made 3? And then he smells it? Did we solve the gesture mystery?

Obviously it's the 3point smell and celebrate maneuver

Smellebration.

up 1. Raptors couldn’t continue making everything from 3.
martin @ 3/3/2026 8:11 PM
Hahaha perfect

martin @ 3/3/2026 8:29 PM
Knicks have a legit 9 man rotation and still missing Deuce
Philc1 @ 3/3/2026 8:31 PM
Who says KAT doesn’t play D?
martin @ 3/3/2026 8:31 PM
Let’s go KAT

Barrett's eating us alive. That said, night in and night out, I believe Anunoby's better.

Have RJ and Quick beaten us once since they left? Seems Brunson has lil bro’ed them every time.
martin @ 3/3/2026 9:57 PM
Yep

I really like this GSW style offense we are playing lately. Josh playing Draymond role, seems concerted effort to get him in the middle and spray it out. Early season style spray action.
SergioNYK @ 3/3/2026 10:07 PM
We are getting scary good on defense!!!
martin @ 3/3/2026 10:12 PM
Haha fair

Solid game that was different from most of this season in that it was neither a blowout, a comeback or a seesaw game. They held the lead every time TO tried to rally which is a good sign, because that is not how they usually respond.

Biggest takeaways:

KAT is improving and showing he can be coached up to be the guy they need him to be. All roads run through KAT. Without him, the Knicks have a snowball's chance at smellabration.

Diawara's next assignment: Tighten the handle on the drives. He'll figure it out, guy is a genius.

Shamet is again this team's X factor. They are a completely different club since he came back from the injured list. I said it elsewhere today, but he gives us everything Deuce provides, but with greater size on defensive matchups.

Brunson's judgment was shaky tonight. He got close to his average, but it was not one of his better games. If he played a better PG game tonight they would've probably blown out the Raptors, but he picked odd moments to freelance. He did help close out the 4th so it's all good, but they are better when he truly excels.

Josh F. Hart's middle name is Fugazi.

ToddTT likes girls with six packs. Too bad he only lasts ten seconds when they clench.

We gonna let Panos back in soon?
The bandwagon got lots of room. Come on back home. Your forgiven!

I hope they give Brendan O'Connor a huge bonus cause what he's done with this defense the past few weeks has been incredible. We held another team to under 100 points (95 points on 45% shooting) and outrebounded them 43-28!

A lot of credit has to go to KAT. Not sure when the switch went on but he's been so good the last few games. He's playing with great pace and not rushing anything. He's cleaning the glass and altering shots and just being almost like a QB at both ends (6 assists last night). He still has games every now and then where he picks up silly fouls like last night but overall he's been really good and I hope he can keep it up!

We started off a little slow and got down 10 but OG had a good first quarter - weird how he didn't play the final nine minutes of the second. The Cap getting fouled on a three at the end of the first was also a huge play. Another great showing by Diawara! Played some nice defense on Ingram and hit 2/4 from three. Hart had one of his best games of the season with 12/7/7 and 3 steals and 2 blocks including that nice block on Mamu under the basket. And the Cap did what the Cap does. Scored 10 in the 4th including that key three to go up 7 with about 3 minutes left and we never looked back. Finished the game on a 16-2 run!

who would have thought we'd end up with arguably the deepest team in the NBA and it wouldn't even include Clarkson or Yabu.

Amazing turnaround from arguably worst bench last year to best this year.

We are a legit 11-12 deep when healthy.
