That was hard to watch. Jose has cooled off a little with how would have liked to see Kolek get some burn when his skill set is needed. He gets our offense going and is an assist machine . Would like to see MB call his number when our offense gets stagnantlike that. Bridges only taking 6 shots is kinda a crime even though he was 0 for 6 and he never got in rhythm.
Even though mo’s shot didn’t go in from 3 he plays great individual defense.
I don’t know about this one it seemed like we were all tired and Brunson gets no respect from the refs … he got hammered on multiple occasions without a call. Like someone else said, if only Brunson got SGA respect from the refs.
Just one of those nights where the intensity just wasn’t present most of the game The no calls in the 4th crushed our momentum and our intensity that we waited all game for.

Game like this and DET and CLE show me this team is not yet a championship level team, but being a contender implies you are capable of going all the way and winning it all and I have no confidence they can unless they get lucky and have favorable matchups throughout the playoffs.
This is a team that often does not adjust to different matchups.
Whatever the issue is, this is not about griping after a loss, it is about being a realist that this team's focus wavers from game to game.
I can only conclude they still lack an identity that you can count on showing up each night.
I'm not even upset. I'm just resigned to this team not going all the way. If they did it would be a pleasant surprise, but my expectations are tempered at this point.
I will continue to hold Brunson and Brown as the two people accountable for the lack of a real identity. Brunson doesn't know who he wants to be sometimes and Brown still has not made his case well enough for Brunson's identity crisis to be resolved.
And if you don't play the only consistent playmaker on the squad then Brown deserves to lose. If ever there was a game that cried out for Kolek to play it was obviously today's game.

Thats interesting because that was the most frustrated that i’ve been with him. In the 2nd quarter, it was obviously the wrong move to go with the double big lineup and he kept the lineup out there way too long instead of realizing it wasn’t working. Furthermore, when the offense stalls like that, why not go to Kolek? We should have went with a faster lineup and try to score on the break since our halfcourt offense wasn’t working.

Yeah, then you play him extended minutes and the defense and shaky shotmaking shows he still has a way to go. I’m not trying to bury him as I surely think he is our best pure point guard and surely hope he is part of the answer, but we’ve been here before and last time he slowly got less time because of that.
Last night was just a whole team effort to suck. I try to get that teams will do that from time to time. Then I see the Celtics approaching the Pistons in the standings on the year we were supposed to be there and it’s just frustrating how inconsistent this team’s effort is.
Ugly game to watch and even uglier to listen to! How does Doris Burke still have a job? She is beyond awful! Monica McNutt is 1000x better!
Anyway, one of the most painful games to watch offensively. We had so many good looks and played some great defense at times holding the Lakers scoreless for several minutes but nobody could hit a damn shot! Cap is still in a slump. He got going a little at the start of the fourth so here is hoping that slump is over cause it's getting frustrating missing bunnies and shots he normally makes. KAT was solid. Still cannot get a damn call but kudos to him for playing through it. Mikal was beyond awful!! I know games like that happens and he's been solid the last few weeks but man that was hard to watch! Mitch also had a bad game and a rare game where he got beat to rebounds. Hart wasn't good and OG had that impossible task of guarding Luka, who makes some of the most difficult shots you'll ever see. It was refreshing to see him not cry to the zebras after ever call but he is one tech away from suspension so he kept his mouth shot. He's such a talented player but his constant complaining makes him very annoying!
Give the Lakers credit. They played well! I think that hasbeen LeBum played, we would've won this game! But ask any Lakers fans and they will all tell you they play better without him! They defend as a team and Luka and Reeves play better. And Hachimura is underrated.
It's good that the Knicks players all decided to get their stinker games out of the way all at the same time? It's the only positive
