so if we beat NOLA and BOS loses to OKC on WED, we will be in 2nd place.

That is how a serious team handles a tanking team at home. No slow start, no careless turnovers or lazy defense. And I hate to pick on Brunson cause I know we'd be like the Wizards without him but it starts with him. He was promoted Captain and that comes with the responsibility of making sure he and his teammates play with focus and energy and we haven't seen that the last few games. It was a lot better last night. Brunson scored 12 points in that first and led by example with his energy and effort on defense. And he didn't do that play where he Iso's on a guy and goes into his move and pump fakes and gives up and passes it out which results in either a bad shot or a shot clock violation. And if I have to see him holding his ankle I'm going to lose it! I've never seen a player suffer so many ankle injuries!

Good to see Mikal hit some shots! And I'd thought aliens would have landed before we ever saw Hart hit 9 straight threes! Kudos to him and the shooting coach Peter Patton! Mitch would a double double 10/10 in 17 minutes! And Diawara 3/4 from three!

And hats off to Kolek! 42 in the G League and comes in garbage time and knocks down 4/4 and 3/3 from three in 5 minutes! I understand why Brown is going with the experienced GTA5 at backup PG but I hope Kolek hangs in there cause I kind of see a IQ level trajectory for him meaning he can be a starting PG on a good team.

I know Breen was showing love to the Wizards coach and yeah, they play hard despite their record but if I was ownership, I hire Thibs this season. Give Thibs AD, Young and some of their young guys and they are in the playoffs next season.
