For whatever reason duren had a tough time w Carter and each of Cleveland’s bigs is better than that. Also I have to imagine Thompson would guard Donovan and Cunningham on harden is risky. Cade can be in foul trouble
Cleveland actually matches up better with the pistons than we do.
Maybe but I think Detroit has a little of those old Mike fratello teams. Good during regular season because there’s only so much game planning you can do for a specific team then but come the playoffs you have chances for game to game adjustments deeper dives etc.
good analogy! Maybe a bit of a Thibian like thing also? Team plays above its talent level during the season and will run thru walls for their coach, only to hit one they can't get thru.
When NBC went to San Antonio that colorway schmatic court design and t-shirt thing looked bloody awful. LIke a bad WHAM! video from the 1980's. I think of spurs I think the Black with silver accents. Classic bad guy gun slinger look. Not some Culture Club Cocaine inspired public service video for AID's awareness.
"Frankie Says: give the ball to Wemby!"
Reminded me of a Violet and Aqua jacket I once wore in 1983. No pictures survived

The guy that turned the Knicks franchise around.

Leon rose?
Wolves are badass. Gotta respect consistent playoff risers.
It would be an absolute blessing if the Knicks got to play the wolves in the chip!!
I haven’t watched much Cavs so I could be wildly off on this but they seem like straight pretenders to me

I had a wild dream last night where OG came over to our estate for tea time.
He was dressed in white Summer linens and I walked him around the gardens
When tea was served someone called him OG and he corrected them and said,
"Call me by the name my mother gave me, Ogugua"
Then I woke up

Mobley and Allen are potentially better than when we faced them in earlier playoffs.
Mobley sometimes carries the team and Allen's defense has at times been scary good.
Harden is good, but no longer great and DM is streaky.
I'd be focused on neutralizing their bigs and making the Cavs beat you from the perimeter

Duncan Robinson is fucking them up!
Duncan Fucking Robinson! He chest bumped Harden !
Mobley got talent but he imagine if he had the build of Duren instead of Channng Frye?
From what im seeing in this game with 7minutes to go Cav's getting manhandled.
Keep it close and that back court can close things out.
Mitchell and Harden are a crap defensive backcourt
Based on the last 4 minutes of that game, Cleveland was completely passive and Detroit went after it
Cavs embarrassed themselves. The game was close and they literally gave up down the stretch showing no effort, no game plan, nothing, not impressed
While the Cavs may regroup, I expect DET will build momentum
Yes I don’t know. For most of the game Cleveland looked liked crap and Detroit seemed hyped yet Cleveland somehow hung around
Donovan had no impact. Seemed to have difficulty dribbling, lost focus catching the ball etc. not sure what’s up. Harden kept them close
Don’t know what to expect but Cleveland can definitely win. You can’t walk it up and play slow against Detroit
Gonna be a war with us and the pistons.

I hope Jaylen Brown keeps yapping about foul calls through out the playoffs.
