So when did Okongwu turn into prime Brook Lopez at the 3point line?
Dude is shooting 66% on 4.5 shots per

Yet another reason to play through KAT. Put Okongwu in foul trouble. They have nothing after that
And to those that say we can’t ply though KAT because he’ll foul out, I say so what. They’re not passing to KAT as it is so he being on the bench just simplifies things

I’d love to see stats how those shooters look w KAT versus Brunson. I bet you it’s better bc ball has better energy flowing through KAT

In crunch time KAT is a better playmaker than JB. If we ran the triangle offense, KAT would be the main focal point and JB would play catch and shoot. At least there’s more ball movement and player movement when KAT has the ball. JB took it personal snd tried to prove a point. And it cost us the game and made him look even worse.
NO KAT NO RINGS

Professional publicist speaking on behalf of Coach Brown the day after Game 2
Martin and I thinking about Kolek warming the bench

UNBELIEVABLE how this stiff is knocking every 3down - even going back to regular season AGAINST US - PROBABLY ONLY US.
How to game plan Knicks.
Start out game convincing J Brunson he’s got single coverage and make him go 1 v 1 ALL 1st quarter.
If he gets 20 - you live with it but at same time everyone else on Knicks has either checked out, not in a groove or simply standing around with thumbs up ass.
Kat must wait for brief snippet to start 2nd quarter to eat crumbs but as he wakes up Mikey Brown yanks him for stone hands.
Brunson is so responsible and hate to do mistakes to the extent that he push too much to correct things when he is not doing good, he doesn't settle and say, ok, i need to chill till my shot is back or figure out how to approach this, no, he keep trying hard. Many times it worked, but sometimes he is just playing on his own taking the rest of the team out ..... this is Brown's time to step in and calm him down and show him the right way.

Bridges missed several key buckets. And I hated that caressing hug of a foul.
JB can't do it all.
OG ain't 100%. He looked gassed or hurting on a couple of key defensive plays. And the choked free throws were rough.
Kolek was scoreless.
I'm not sure who the two days off helps more. Probably them.
Bridges…
I can’t stand him anymore.

Brown disagrees.
Why make things easy for you and have a clear advantage?
Real or fake rumor, I’ll take this any time
Not sure we need massive change. We had the game in hand. We get gassed? Maybe.
Kudos to the Demon for taking Johnson a notch down, he is their best player. CJ is a problem for Brunson and Dyson is too big for him to guard.
Cowherd, Hammons, Doris, whom ever........If Brunson is our best player perhaps we are not going to win a chip in that capacity. Don't mean he can't be, just improbable. In fact knicks as favorites to win was always a long shot. Does not mean it can't.
As some has said KAT needs to be our big dog. We are seeing the best version of himself the last few weeks.
Knicks had a bad night. We hit a few more shots, foul shot, etc, we might not be in this dispair were Billy Donovan is now being written about.
